+ -1 moreThe original windows had not been properly installed and required a fair amount of extra work to remove. The new Simonton Platinum windows are set properly in their frames. The work areas were all well cleaned up after the job was complete. Our installer, Curt, was good at communicating when he was arriving and was careful moving around our house. Kyle, the owner, does a good job of explaining all the options available for the job in question. Everything he said squared with the additional research I did online regarding materials and installation. Highly recommended.

+ 0 moreKyle showed up on time and talked me through the whole process and what I needed done. We had a couple of conversations during the contracting process, and the final contract incorporated everything that needed to be done. We had to wait a couple of months because the company has a backlog of work (a good sign), but I wanted the job done right, so it was worth the wait. The work crew showed up on time. They encountered some difficulties (not their fault) during the job, and they overcame them at no additional cost to us. Kyle was a real pleasure to work with. He listens well -- he is a true professional. He kept me in the loop through everything, and he personally made sure everything was done right.
Description of Work: We needed some very hard-to-reach and heavy windows replaced (three stories up) and also needed our siding removed, sealed properly, and replaced.

I am very satisfied with all of the work done, the quality of the product, and the care and respect for my home. First rate company. Would surely recommend and use this company again. Great product. I really got my money's worth.

+ -1 moreThey called on the day that they said they would, and scheduled my work. They showed as scheduled, and kept me informed, as bad weather was approaching. They sent one craftsman, Kurt, who did excellent work removing, installing new windows and then wrapping them all. The whole process took a week. I am impressed with the pride Kurt took in his work, and very happy with the finished product.

+ -1 moreArgon Windows removed and replaced my oversized sliding glass patio door. I received quotes from three different contractors: Argon, Window World, and Mr. Roger's Window's. Mr. Roger's windows was by far the most expensive quote and in my opinion not a good value. Window World was the least expensive quote but I was concerned about the value of their product and my understanding of Window World subs out the installation process. Argon's quote was in between Window World and Mr. Roger's Windows and after doing much research I felt it was a good value (Argon's quote was less than half of Mr. Roger's Windows FYI). Argon uses Simenton as their product manufacturer and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the product. Argon owns the installation process from start to end and I couldn't be happier with the responsiveness and professionalism of every employee that I dealt with along the way. Curt was my installer and he was fantastic. Bonnie, the company owner, was professional and attentive along they way. Overall I couldn't recommend the company any more highly and if I had to do it again I would not hesitate to use Argon.

+ -1 moreCurt who is the technician that did the work was very thorough, professional, and did a great job. Bonnie was also very helpful and honest compared to other companies that I spoke with.
Description of Work: I had my windows done a little over eight years ago and they were not properly installed. I had them adjust the windows and put in insulation. They also replaced a door with a sliding glass door with a screen. In my kitchen I could not reach the windows so they installed casement windows. They also installed three slider windows in my garage.

Description of Work: I had 15 double hung windows and a garden window installed and went with Argon Windows after obtaining 3 separate estimates. Their estimate came in just under 2 of the bigger name window replacement companies and I went with Argon due to a previous experience with their work and the great service they had provided previously. Once the order was placed, it took about a month for the windows to be ordered and arrive. I was contacted to set up a date for installation, and the installers arrived promptly at the appointed time. Installation went smoothly and I was extremely please with the professionalism and workmanship displayed by the installers. This company does NOT use sub contractors for their work and all installers are employed directly by Argon Windows. Near the end of the installation, one of the installers deliberately alerted me to a minor cosmetic defect in several of the newly installed windows. It appreared to be a manufacturing flaw that I probably wouldn't have noticed on my own, so I was very impressed that it was brought to my attention. The installer phoned his office and Argon Windows immediately contacted the distributor to remedy the situation. The company continued to press the distributor for a resolution on my behalf, and keep me regularly informed on the status. Once the distributor provided replacement materials, Argon came out promptly to fix the affected windows. Argon Windows installs Simonton Windows (rated #1 by JD Power & Associates) and I have been very pleased with the quality of my new windows. In closing, my second experience with Argon Windows was just as impressive as the first. The company takes a lot of pride in their work and they work very hard to provide quality customer service. The owner (Ms Bonnie Phaup Foreman), is personally involved in every aspect of the process and she makes a point of engaging the customer to ensure they are receiving the service they want. I give this company the highest possible marks and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for these services.

+ -1 moreThe work was done to perfection. The window and door installation were absolutely perfect. The trim work on the outside of the house was the best I've ever seen. Extra touches on the trim work, gave them a 'raised' architectural look that didn't cost any extra. Also, the interior wood trim that was added after we discovered the mess made by previous window installations blended right in and looked like the wood trim had always been there. This company performs class work when it comes to windows. I can say the same for the siding because some of my neighbors have had them do window and siding and the work is perfect.
Description of Work: I had a new kitchen door installed, as well as 18 windows in the house and garage. Additionally, because some of our windows did not have wood trim and our walls are the old style plaster, previous window installations had made a mess of the plaster openings. The previous contractors covered up their mistakes with vinyl strips that didn't look professional. Argon Windows installed wood trim on all of these windows.

They were honest, hard working and they cleaned up everything. Bonnie is the owner and does all the measuring herself. These guys are an excellent window company.

+ -1 moreThey really went above and beyond for me and even gave me a lifetime guarantee on the panes, which wasn t standard. All the vinyl work around the windows were to perfection and none of it has come loose. This was a smaller outfit that took what was needed to get it right for you and left me very happy with the work done.
Description of Work: They replaced 13 double pane windows and put vinyl around all the sills. They also enlarged one window frame on the front of the house.

There were some frames that needed repair, but we were not charged for this extra work. They were done in less than one day, and we love the new windows.
