Mountain Road Tree Service & Landscaping

I personally will never use this company again. I’ve used their services for a number of years, and they always did a great job. Sadly, this last job I felt like I was taken advantage of. It was MUCH more expensive and they said they fulfilled their obligation while leaving me with what I considered to be an unfinished job. Now I am forced to once again pull money from my retirement account and find someone else to finish the job. Not sure what changed with them, but I felt more like an open wallet than a human being.

Jennifer and Andrew came to the property soon after we called to provide an estimate for the work we needed. They were very knowledgeable and provided great advise. They sent their estimate quickly and started the service on time on the date that we needed it. We are very pleased with their service and plan to use them again in the future.

Great company to deal with. Came by to give me an estimate while removing a neighbor's tree. Estimate was very reasonable so I asked them to remove my trees as well. They came by the next day, all trees were removed, stumps ground up, and yard completely cleaned up that same day. I would definitely hire them again!

It took several weeks to get the first appointment but this time of year tree companies are very busy. The week of the first appointment was very wet and all appointments had to be rescheduled. It took several tries to figure out a time the service could get done but it was scheduled for mothers day for late morning or early afternoon. That turned into 4pm, due to the customer before me have a much larger job than expected. The crew worked hard and fast when they arrived and met all of my expectations. I just wish someone would have called me when they figured out they were going to be later than scheduled.

Most recently, they worked in our side garden area, digging up and replacing shrubbery that was not doing well and planting a few perennials. They also delivered and placed a small boulder and planted the replaced shrubbery along the driveway to give it a chance--feeling that in the new location and with feeding the azaleas would probably come back pretty well. They also fed all the shrubs and plants on our property and mulched the new plantings. Andrew and the crew were very patient in working with me to make sure that the plants were planted as I desired. Both my husband and I are very pleased with the result, which they were able to accomplish in just under two hours time. In addition to landscaping, Andrew and crew have taken down a number of trees that were endanger of damaging our home and they will be returning soon to take down a large oak tree at the back of our deck. We always have full confidence when we call on Andrew that the work will be done well and priced fairly. It is a pleasure and comfort to have people of such high quality do work at our home.

The quote was great. The communication was excellent. We got great feedback for them. They responded very quickly.
