+ -1 moreMr. Hofma did an excellent job for us. He went above and beyond to repair and redo our front steps and even fixed a crack in the brick that was on the side of our home. I would hire him again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him.

+ -1 moreThe work was more extensive than originally anticipated. It required a number of new bricks. Mr. Hofma did an excellent job of interweaving the new and older bricks so that it didn't look like a large section had been replaced. I with that I had pictures to show how great the finished product is. The work was completed with a high degree of skill in a time manner. We are very pleased. I definitely hire again and would recommend him to friends.
Description of Work: Repair to outdoor brick steps. The front steps are about 1/2 flight in length. The brick on several of the treads were loose and/or cracked. The bricks had failed from the inside out. One half of every tread needed to be completely rebuilt. The remaining half was re-pointed with old mortar removed and replaced.

+ -1 moreWe had a great time working with Larry. He responded quickly to see the project and give a quote, and always returned our calls promptly. He quoted a good price for the job, and stuck to it even when the work turned out to be a little more difficult than expected. Larry did all the work himself, and it took a little longer than a bigger crew would have. He is an old-fashioned craftsman (mason) and made sure the foundation and grade were perfect. He also added on a sidewalk with the leftover pavers. He is a friendly, honest person, and we felt at ease with him. We paid the distributor for the material up front, but Larry only took payment after the job was done. I will definitely use him again in the future.
Description of Work: We had concrete paver patio installed under the back porch of the house.

The work was completed in one day and Larry made sure to clean up and leave the area clean and free of any trash or left over materials. He went over the work that was performed and made sure that I was satisfied. I would highly recommend Larry Hofma of Glasshouse Masonry and plan to use him again in the future.
Description of Work: I had the misfortune of hiring a soda blasting company to remove some flaking paint off the end of a painted brick garage. They blew out most of the mortar joints. I called Larry Hofma of Glasshouse Masonry, he came out the day I called. He looked at the damage and said he could repair it. We agreed on a price and he started the work the next day. The work was completed the same day and looks very good. More importantly it was done correctly and now I can repaint my garage. I would highly recommend Glasshouse Masonry to anyone that has a need for masonry work.

CORNERSTONE CLASSIC MASONRY offers the following services: The services provided are all aspects of masonry from repairs to foundation work to ornamental walls, patios and walks of brick concrete pavers or stone. We also do landscape masonry that includes cobblestone boarders around plantings and driveways. Glasshouse also installs marble glass tile and stone products in kitchens and baths.
Glasshouse does not build additions. When renovating bathrooms and kitchens we do not install or make cabinets or glass doors. Also we do not cut or install slab stone for counter tops.
