Workhouse Plumbing is our new favorite plumbing contractor. Our old favorite (Haynes) stopped servicing our area, but recommended Workhouse. We couldn't be more pleased with the service over two visits. Expert, professional, friendly, fair price... everything one could ask for in a skilled service provider. We will continue to use Workhouse for all our plumbing needs.

Have used Morris at Workhouse Plumbing for 3 jobs. On-time arrival, extremely fair pricing, attention to detail and meticulous work ethic. Jan 2018: Morris replaced / upgraded all plumbing under our kitchen sink. Meticulous work ethic. Dec 2018: Morris installed a Koehler toilet and replaced all drainage piping for our kitchen sink. Top work ethic and attention to detail. A former Navy submariner, he is meticulous, leaves no room for error, and sets a fair cost. As the plumbing supply company rep who recommended Morris had said to me, “He’s the only plumber I’ll let in my house.” Jan 2020: A separate more recent, but equally professional experience installing a Zoeller M53 sump pump with battery backup. Outstanding workmanship and attention to detail. Highly recommended!!

The last time I used Workhouse Plumbing, it was to install a new shower in my house. They did a great job at a highly competitive price. I first learned of Workhouse Plumbing from a friend who is a highly successful real estate agent - this is her go-to company for all plumbing needs and she raves about them. I have since used them a few times and I have to agree, they are stellar. I wouldn't consider anyone else. There are several things where they stand out: a) Highly competent and get the job done right the first time - including good troubleshooting skills b) Super reasonable prices c) Reasonable availability d) Morris is one of the most decent people you will meet. He's the kind of guy I would feel comfortable with leaving a house key with. It's good to work with someone like him so is good to the core. If you are looking for a plumber in the Northern Virginia area, I would highly recommend Workhouse Plumbing.

Morris (owner) did an excellent job. He needed to break up the concrete floor, install drain lines, connect new sink, dishwasher & disposer to drain & new waterlines. I was very happy with the work. It passed both County inspections 100%. All works great and his pricing is very reasonable. I would definitely use Morris/Workhouse Plumbing again.

Morris and his apprentice arrived promptly and began work. During the course of the faucet installation he discovered that a valve under the sink needed replacing, as well as the main water shut-off valve for the house. The repairs were completed in a reasonable amount of time, and everything was cleaned up nicely. Morris kept me informed of the progress and explained things well. The cost for the faucet replacement was similar to what other plumbers had quoted. The price shown below is for installing one faucet, there was a discount on the second one.

Morris was great to work with - always polite and professional. We suffered a water disaster when a pipe burst and flooded the downstairs. It was then discovered that we had those defective Quest pipes. The house had to be completely re-piped. I also decided to replace the water heater and to have Morris recommend other items that needed to be fixed/replaced so I wouldn't have any more water problems. He explained everything he recommended doing to me so that I could understand as I know nothing about plumbing. He also noticed that the gas line to the stove was not up to code and recommended replacing it. He gave me an estimate and a date when the work would be completed. The work was completed within the estimated price and by the date promised. If you have plumbing needs, big or small, I highly recommend Workhouse Plumbing! I plan to use them for all my future plumbing needs.

Had to have hybrid water heater re-located for service. Morris Dickens showed up as scheduled. Drained, relocated and cleaned up promptly and professionally. Would use again.

Super experience all the way around. Morris was prompt in returning my call and was at my house that day. I had several jobs I needed done. None were emergencies, but things I had been putting off. My kitchen faucet was loose on the granite and the handle was loose as well. The under sink plumbing in two baths was done by my husband when we upgraded and I thought both of those needed some tweaking. I also wanted the inside shut off valves to our two outside spigots replaced. Morris looked at everything and told me what he thought I needed done. In short, he fixed everything except one of the bathrooms because he said it looked fine. As a woman who knows nothing about plumbing I really appreciate his honesty in doing only the things that needed to be done. He was here for 4 hours going in and out during the awful storm we had that night without complaint. In short he did great work in a timely manner, patiently answered all of my questions and then some and was just a very professional and pleasant person to do business with. I highly recommend! Prompt and very courteous . Did the job quickly and cleaned up after

Our basement floors started puddling water in certain areas and when we checked on the sump pump discovered it was completely flooded and not working. We called Morris thanks to a neighbor's recommendation and we are so thankful to have found him! Morris came to our rescue within the hour (even though itwas late evening) and quickly removed the broken sump pump and replaced it with a new one. We are happy to report our basement is completely dry now (in less than 24hrs) and the new sump pump is working hard to keep it that way (the ground is very saturated in our area due to all the snow melting). Morris made sure to leave us with instructions on what to look out for in the next 48hrs to ensure the only issue was our sump pump. Will definitely use this company again for any of our plumbing needs in the future!

Morris' We were extremely pleased. We had no difficulty scheduling an appointment time that worked for us. He arrived promptly despite coming from a previous job about 25 miles away during rush hour. He also texted us to keep us updated. He was cordial and did the work quickly. He explained what he was doing and why. He left everything neat and tidy. He made no attempt to "up sell" us, and in fact did his best to contain costs. We were particularly impressed because we had a similar repair done on another toilet (under emergency conditions) and that plumber charged us six times the amount. We will definitely continue to use Morris' services.
