We have been customers for about a year after receiving recommendations from a couple of different friends and family members. We couldn't be happier with the services they provide. All of the folks who have serviced our lawn have been extremely friendly and professional. Every application was extremely effective. Over the past year, we have seen our lawn go from one riddled w/ crab grass, stiltgrass, and clover to a beautiful lawn that has received a lot of compliments from several of our house guests. They also offer several touches that many of the larger competitors don't. First of all, it is a veteran-owned business, which to me is a big selling point. The owner (Kevin Raymond) has been very attentive us as customers. He personally visited the property to provide our initial estimate and walked with me through the lawn to discuss a long term weed-control plan. He also personally calls before each of his team's visits to let us know they will be coming to the property. He is adamant about his workers coming to the door and introducing themselves before each visit, so there is no concern of seeing people randomly working in your yard without advanced notice. Finally, they offer a free reapplication if you are unhappy with any of the results. A complete class act that I wish was more commonplace in service-based businesses. Finally, their prices are very reasonable and they offer several pricing plans to meet the needs of their customers.

I found TA through one of my neighbors who was very pleased with them. I decided to give them a try. They have NOT disappointed me. Kevin Raymond always calls before they are going to come out and they arrive the day they say they will be coming. My wife observed that unlike many other services we have seen in the area, they are NOT in a hurry to get in and out. They have been aerating, fertilizing, seeding, spraying weeds, and liming the lawn and it has responded well. If you are unhappy with any service, Kevin is just a phone call away and he will send a team out to make you happy. The personnel are very courteous. On occasion, the owners are part of the team performing service. We did have a small problem the first time that they aerated, but they came and fixed the problem promptly. We had a patch of bad grass along the curb from winter salt application. Their personnel came out with a small cultivator and thoroughly mixed the soil in a 35 foot section and incorporated new soil and seed. The new grass came in rapidly. I am still using them and will continue to do so.

Personally I'm a green thumb and enjoy landscaping my yard however; I was tired of dragging bags of fertilizer and seed every year to maintain my lawn. My lawn generally looks good, but I was having a problem getting rid of the weeds. Throughout the spring and summer different types of weeds would sprout and it was very frustrating because I wanted the perfect golf course lawn. People would say my lawn looked good but, I was not satisfied. Each year I would aerate, re-seed, dethatch and fertilize my lawn, but now I'm tired of doing all of the work. I don't mind cutting and trimming my lawn, however, I'm tired of treating it, so I went looking for a company that would give me the golf course look by the way of treating it. True Alternative Lawn Care was the company that fit my needs. They were very courteous explaining what my lawn needed and I was impressed with the estimate and the review of my lawn. The representative even told me the names of every weed in my yard. So all that being said they have been treating my lawn and the results are outstanding! The first treatment turned the entire lawn deep dark green, attacked the weeds and immediately killed a patch of weeds that started growing in the back corner of my yard due to the water runoff in which I could not get rid of no matter what type of weed killer I applied. After the first treatment I received a courtesy call and they came back out to review the progress of my lawn. I'm not trying to brag, but I was very familiar with lawn treatment so I was waiting to see if True Alternative Lawn Care knew what they were doing and not just trying to take my money and rush through my yard like other companies I've experienced. I have to be honest; I am completely satisfied and would recommend True Alternative Lawn Care to anyone! To make a long story short the treatments are reasonable and I also have the golf course lawn I want and have been working for years to grow!

The guys from True Alternative Lawn Care are good. It's a good company. They have reasonable prices just for lawn treatment and seeding stuff. They come out and treat the grass and the weed and fertilize it. I always had positive interactions with them. They are always there when they say that they're going to be there. They don't require anybody to be at the house and they leave a detailed description of the treatments that they did while they're there.
