Russell Blake from Total Renovating did a great job on my kitchen remodel. From start to finish, the whole process was relatively painless and headache free. He got the initial design perfect on the first try and applied it seamlessly to my space. His workers were very courteous and mindful of the home they were working in. Total Renovating Total Renovating was the answer to our prayers; I was in a bind and was having doubts about whether we could sell our home unless something miraculous happened. I finished putting up drywall in my basement over Covid. I needed to pull the proper permits with the county. When my wife and I decided to sell our home, we reached out to the county, and they said unless we opened up all our walls and correctly installed fire stopping in compliance with the code, we would be in violation and unable to sell our home. We received estimates as low as 7k and as high as 34K. Total Renovating estimate was in the middle; more importantly, they were the only contractor who understood the scope of work and could meet our last-minute schedule. Total Renovating, from our initial introduction to the last payment received, was responsive, had a positive can-do attitude, was professional, punctual, and outperformed beyond my expectations. I canâ t express how stressed my wife and I were; they were a blessing to us. Please consider Russel and his team for any home project you may have. Hindsight, I wish I would have just called them instead of trying to do it myself.

We had a complicated bathroom remodel which required a complete overhaul of the layout of the bathroom. The owner, Russell, was able to help me come up with a design that would utilitize the space to the fullest. The moving of the toilet, plumbing, and electric required a county inspection which the company was not intimidated by and I was thankful to have a company that was licensed, insured, and willing to do what was required. They were also very accommodating when it came to the timeline as I had several required stops and starts. There were some complications with communication, lack of detail, and leaving things dirty by the work crew which did cause frustration during the process. However, Russell made sure everything was ultimately resolved and the end result was a beautiful bathroom that I was very happy with.

Effortlessly. Price was definitely competitive. The two things we like aside from the quality craftsmanship was: (1) personable; and (2) the rendering / virtual design studio. Total Renovating's virtual design studio allowed us to see it, like it/dislike it, change it, and make it our own before a dime was spent.

We're SO happy with our full master bathroom reno! We're first-time homeowners so had no idea what to expect for a project like this in terms of cost, process, timing, etc-- Russell guided us through the process and was responsive, helpful, and understanding the whole time, even when I kept changing my mind about things. All of the sub contractors (demo, tile, glass, plumbing, etc) throughout the project were super efficient, friendly and professional. Russell and his crew at Total Renovating did a superb job adding a new full bath and laundry room to our basement. In addition, they replaced our existing flooring with Laminate Vinyl Plank (LVP) throughout our house. We hired Total Renovations to finish our basement. They were great to work with. They met all of our needs and worked within our budget. Communication was good, and Russell or Tyron would visit to check the progress and ensure the inspections went well at every step. All work was completed timely, and within the estimated timeline. Any questions or concerns were discussed and addressed. The quality of construction was excellent, even amongst the uneven poured concrete basement foundation walls. The studded walls are all plum and the drywall finish is smooth and clean. The basement remained very clean and tidy throughout the project. No lose materials and the floor was always swept clean. I was impressed with the level of care, even for our relatively small project. I would recommend Total Renovations for any projects and will be holding onto their info for our future projects.

We had a wonderful experience with Russell and Total Renovating. They remodeled our kitchen and put new flooring across our entire bottom floor, including having to take apart and re-install our bathroom to do so. They were fast and efficient but delivered high quality work. Our kitchen turned out even better than we could have imagined. Having never gone through a home renovation process, we were a little bit skeptical as to which company we wanted to hire to undertake the task of transforming a two-story living room area in our home into a space which converted the upper portion into an additional bedroom. After an extensive search, we found Total Renovating , LLC and its owner, Russell. From day one, which was actually a few months before we hired him and his team, Russell was extremely pleasant to work with. I called and informed him of the task we were wanting to have completed, as well as the fact that we were new to this experience. He was very patient in explaining the entire process from start to finish. Once we had a signed contract between ourselves and Total Renovating, LLC, Russell took it from there. Whether it was obtaining architectural drawing designs, permits from the county, or the construction and clean up of the project, Russell and his team took care of every step along the way. At no point in time did Russell ever try to oversell me on any aspect of the project, nor did he brush aside any issue that other companies may feel to be trivial. If we had a question or a concern, Russell had an answer or a solution. Russell and his team were able to take a vision that we had in our heads for our open space, and literally turn it into a reality.
