It was either not heating in winter and running all the time or not cooling in summer and running continously but not helping. We had a friend who put in coolant for us. There is still a leak that is not fixed that they are aware of and will not fix it. We had a 10 years parts and labor contract with them. We contacted BBB and they couldn't do anything because they are under new management so our contract for labor is void. I would never recommend them to anyone.

We first called Ashmans because the company that installed our pumps was no longer in business. I had met this young man thru another company and then found out that he was in business for himself. One of our pumps was not working properly with the AC and they were very quick to respond to our call. When Mr. Ashman came to repair he found the problem quickly and had to order the part. The repairs were done and service was prompt. We have called on them a few times since the first encounter and never have a problem getting them to respond. My husband also wanted him to check something out in our crawl space and he did that also. It is wonderful when an older couple can count on the younger ones for their service and help.

Overall, we are very pleased with the timely manner the work was completed in and the quality of the work.

Called on a SUNDAY - was told that the service call would be 2 times as much ($150 as opposed to $75). Found a loose wire that was rusted on the back of a transformer. Wiggled wire and everything work well. Then the transformer went. He replaced the $40 unit ( charged me $100) then went he hooked it up, he blew the other transformer that had the safety switch in it. New part on internet was $100 ( charged me $300) Total bill for 1 hour of work was $740, My wife was piiiiissssed and I was too, tried to explain to me that the $300 piece was going bad, when it was not , the furnace worked fine when the wire was loose, but once he "fixed" it, replacing 2 pieces the cost was $740. Dropped the bill by $140 after I paid cash and complained.
