Very well. They were nicely accommodating.

Initial meeting went well. We arranged a day and time to meet and I was given a quote for a scope that included removal of several trees and trimming of two others. I wasn't prepared to do all the work now so I requested a quote for a smaller job. He said he would get back to me in a week. I never heard anything back and my calls were ignored. Too bad...maybe they just got too busy.

The work was done well. The crew was pleasant and they left the yard in good condition. Because this was such a good deal, I believe they were overbooked. So be prepared to wait and be persistent. Every time I called, the phone was picked up, and I was told there would be a response when they got back to the office, but there wasn't. Without this hiccup in the process, I would have rated this an A on all accounts.

The work was finished in June and I've been trying to get them to come back and clean up all the debris they left in my yard. I've been trying to get in contact with them but they will not take my calls now. They cleaned up some but the two things I'm concerned about are the small sticks and we also had a dispute about removing the stump. They ground the stump down and left all of the chips there. They told me it could be good compost then they said I couldn't use it as compost until a year goes by and it decomposes.

Had to get a refund! Impossible to communicate and schedule with and seems to be unorganized.

While I purchased the special deal and attempted to contact the company, they have not yet even called or emailed me. Absolutely no contact whatsoever. I will be seeking a refund of the money I paid

They removed the tree quickly and efficiently. The got up the debris excellently. I was a little disappointed with stump grind because they didnt get much out, but my space is very tight and there was electrical near by.

David & crew did an excellent job taking down many large & small trees safely without damaging our home or shed and worked to minimize lawn & driveway damage. In spite of those efforts some damage to driveway did occur. Our biggest concern was they compressed the number of days of scheduled work which resulted in them rushing to finish work on their new last day. This resulted in some arge holes in the yard not being filled in, chips not being spread and some stumps not being ground as promised. Overall, they still did a terrific and safe job.

I was very pleased with the work that was done over 3 days in this tiny yard. Dave's crew were professional and considerate of the work needing done. The trees came down effectively necessitating removing a few panels of my privacy fence to extract the logs. The fence was put back together as if never taken apart. The gutters were repaired after the ivy removal form the house. These fellows needed to be in the neighbors yard during the removal process. I felt the price was reasonable, the guys timely and efficient when doing the work. It took a while for the work after scheduling, but understandable...houses needed trees removed off the structures! I would not hesitate to recommend VA Contracting LLC to anyone needing tree work.

The crew was very friendly and professional. They also did a great job on the clean up. When they completed our job they also were able to remove a tree for my neighbor.

I used VA Contracting last spring to take down 7 trees and I couldn’t be happier. I started out wanting 4 down but the price was so great I added 3 more, two of which was at no charge. Dave is professional, reliable and competent. I had the stumps removed and the cleanup was immaculate, Miguel made sure of that! They exceeded my expectations especially after the much higher quotes I has from other tree removal businesses. I have referred several people to him. One client of mine used VA Contracting last year and still thanks me for the referral every time I see him! My neighbor just had two trees down and paid 3x more than me. I’m sorry I didn’t talk to them sooner (and so are they). I was impressed with their skill and expertise, my trees were close to the house, VA Contracting took them down with ease!

David came early for the estimate meeting and gave me a great price - much lower than another bid. I checked his insurance and all checked out. The crew came the very next day and worked hard pulling and trudging through and cleaning up our view to an almost park-like setting. They worked very hard all four and chipped and ground stumps a tremendous number of smaller trees. We are very pleased with the results.

David came to my house to see what I needed done and to give me an estimate. He arrived exactly when he said he would and was very friendly and professional. He wrote up my estimate and gave me a copy along with a copy of his insurance. I had 4 other tree companies coming to give me estimates but I decided to cancel because I was so impressed with the confidence and professionally David showed, as well as the price. He and his men showed up the next week and took all the trees down. They cleaned up after themselves, left, and I could hardly tell they had been to my house other than the trees that were gone! VA Contracting is an awesome company and I will be using them again as well as recommending them to all my friends and family. USE THEM! You will be very happy:)

It was a fair deal. They probably did what was necessary. They didn't do anything more than I expected them to do. He cleaned up after himself and he conducted himself well. It took them forever to come out, that was the only problem I had. It wasn't really a great deal and it wasn't a horrible deal either.

The crew where skilled in what they do. They had to climb each tree and removed the branches first followed by removing the tree in sections. They tied off sections so they did not damage any of the house or deck. They also chipped the tree as they went along and racked the yard where the debris fell. They also grinder all three stumps as far down as they could go.

The work went really well. I would hire them again and I would recommend them to friends and family.

Excellent work, no damages despite wires, fence, etc. where tree was removed. Cleaned up. Don't hesitate to use.

Arrived on-time. Did work as contracted and was fine with adding some extra small trimming once the work started. Cleaned up nicely.

Our original plan was to take out one dead tree and trim trees for more light for grass, taking out a few "junk trees" to help with the light for our side yard. We live on a heavily wooded lot and knew the trees around the house had not been maintained in probably 15 years so we asked David for suggestions. He was extremely helpful and spotted issues with a few large trees near our house and garage that were serious and we took them down as well rather than risk a future disaster. It turned into a big job over two days and 1 day was spent primarily bringing down a huge tree originally tagged for trimming. They told me what their schedule was and if they couldn't make it because of the weather it was communicated clearly. I wanted to be home while they worked and one day I was delayed coming home from travel and they promptly rescheduled for my convenience without complaint. It was a whole crew that worked from the time they got here until they left. They cleaned up after the work for the day and also when the job was complete. We were not asked for money until the job was complete, but as it happened to fall over a weekend I did pay for the job completed on Friday and then wrote a check for the remainder of the work the following week. I was pleased that they were flexible with my schedule and the trees we didn't intend to take down all had serious rot to the ground so David clearly knew what he saw as he looked over the trees around our home. The huge 75'+ tree that took them all day to take down had at least a foot of standing water in the crook of the tree and he forwarded me a video of them putting a long stick into the water so that I could see what a serious issue we had encountered. We appreciated that the crew came prepared for one job and seemed to take increase in scope and height of trees that needed to come down very much in stride and fairly charged us for the increase in costs to keep our home and property safe.

For a while I had been needing to clean up the trees in the front yard of my house. We are located in a high profile area (Historic district) and I needed to make sure the tree guys did a good job. The guys came out and were 100% willing to make sure I was happy with their work. They listened to me, ADVISED me on what was best for the plantings and were very professional and courteous. We made an appointment for another day. That day they were prompt and did a terrific job. We trimmed a cherry tree, very large Crape Myrtle, a smaller Crape Myrtle and two really large holly bushes. I was pleased that they not only wanted to do the work, but you could tell it was about the "art" and they were concerned with how well it looked. Thank you very much for a job well done!
