Description of Work: I purchased the Angies List Big Deal in the fall for $400 tree/shrub service for $199. Due to weather problems, holidays, family emergency, and more rather difficulties. we did not schedule until spring break..beginning of April I believe. I did have difficulty with contacting David and hearing back from him, but this was due to a family emergency, which was totally understandable. He and his crew of 2 others plus his son came out and worked quickly and efficiently as a team, were very willing to do the trimmings that I requested, and cleaned up fully. They were a very professional and pleasant team and I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: They did a very good job trimming the crepe myrtles, cut down one tree in back, ground 2 stumps and cleared out "scrub" at my property line. They cleaned up everything and raked the ground smooth. They even used their blower to get dirt off my driveway before leaving. A very good job all the way around.

Description of Work: Initial issues were in getting together to examine the scope of the job for the price. Through the wonders of modern telecommunications i was able to remain at work as the estimator walked the property. Once the walk through was done then the scope of the work was agreed on. | Calls were made to inform me that the work was to begin and when the work was completed. Everything was done in a manner that was professional. I would use VA Contracting in the future.

Description of Work: The goal was to get two (2) Holly Tree's in my front yard Trimmed. This resulted in the vendor saying that they would recommend to cut the tree's down vs. trimming based on their professional opinion. I was then told by the vendor that if I did not agree or did not want that service I could request my money back from Angie's List.
