Yard Masters Irrigation Lawn & Garden Care

After $860 my yard looks worse than ever!! My yard is overcome with weeds that the owner refuses to treat per our agreement. Per our agreement, after the compost was applied and the grass turned green, they were supposed to treat the weeds so I could have a healthy looking lawn. The owner refuses to acknowledge that he agreed to include leveling off, with dirt, the tree beds in the backyard for the total price. Even a neighbor, who used their services for his lawn, was present in person when I was talking to the owner and heard me tell the owner about the trees and heard him agree. Even my neighbor called the owner and told him he should honor what was agreed upon. A total waste of money! Furthermore, dealing with the owners, trying to get them to return phone calls to get them to perform the work as promised has been like pulling healthy teeth. They just didn't do as promised and I am terribly disappointed as I wasted my money. To add insult to injury, several days after the compost was applied, they called me Friday and asked if I could pay in cash now (instead of waiting on the invoice) because they weren't going to be able to make payroll. Completely not my problem but at the time I thought I was dealing with an honest company and felt sorry for the employees who would not get paid. I stopped what I was doing, went to the bank, got $860 cash, and drove it to their office! All this and they would not treat the weeds as they agreed. Had I not paid, I would have had leverage for them to treat those weeds but that mistake of blind trust will never happen again with any service provider. Yard Masters should be ashamed of its lousy business practices! I worked for almost 2 months to resolve the issue and my last contact with the owner was 7/26/2017. Yard Masters is a sorry dishonest company! Beware!!

Excellent. The leader was knowledgeable of drainage methods and talked extensively about alternative approaches. The drainage was a terrible problem and the solution (rather extensive in scope) has worked beautifully. The clearing of the back yard brush was efficient. Sod was carefully installed. Yardmasters worked with me on reconfiguring the irrigation system for even distribution of water, which was needed to ensure survival of the sod. Very professional and courteous. They go out of their way to educate you of their approach and quality.

Wonderful - very pleased

NOT GOOD< Ended up paying their price, but learned a big lesson. Always have someone there when they are doing the work, and research the standard.
