I was very impressed and will use them again. An agent from Travelers referred me, mentioning they were a preferred tree service. I wish I had hired them after Irene.

The company responed to my initial call very quickly and within 24 hours I had an on-site inspection and an estimate. The estimate, containing a description of the agreed tasks, was emailed to me within 24 hours. I accepted the estimate and waited to agree a date for the service. Having had several bad experiences with "tree companies" I was somewhat apprehensive.They arrived, as agreed, on a Sunday morning with a full crew and some very fine equipment. After a brief discussion of the requirement they got started. What a courteous, proficient and professional group they were - they worked swiftly and efficiently as a team until the job was completed. Everything but everything was done to my total satisfaction - they even swept up the few remaining leaves and it was hard to notice that they had been there! I have used many contractors on my property but, without a doubt, they are the best.

I had many trees trimmed. Woodchuckers brought a full crew, were given directions and they handled things beautifully. Trees that were hanging over the house were cleaned up as well as all around the perimeter of my property. When they were nearing completion they asked if everything was okay and trimmed additional places that I had asked. After they were done you would never have known they were here they cleaned up so nicely. I would highly recommend them and will use them again if the need arises.

The very next week on Monday morning the tree was taken down. I had no idea it was done as I had gone out on errands. My husband asked me that evening if the tree people had come and I had no idea! I went outside and had to actually view the stump to confirm that the tree was gone.There was no other sign that it had been done. All traces of the dead tree were removed to the woods beside us as we had asked. The yard had no debris of any kind. The work went exactly as asked and the price was fantastic.

I had two very, very large dead oak trees that needed to be removed, as well as some other smaller damaged/problem trees. Their price was the best out of all the quotes I received, they got the work done very quickly, and cleaned up afterwards. I'm extremely happy with their work and what I paid. I will definitely call them again if I need any other major tree work done.

They came 2 days late, but only because they had an emergency tree removal from another house. They finished the work on time and cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again. The price was similar to several other estimates I got, and the price was very much better than one of the estimates I got for the same work. They also emailed me proof of their workmens compensation insurance.

They were neat, the price was good compared to another tree service provider, they did the job exactly how I wanted it done, and I would recommend to others.

Very well. I contracted through Homelink to have a broken off Oak tree removed. Homelink had worked with Woodchuckers many times. A bid was recieved and approved by phone within 24 hours and the tree was removed and stump removed 3 working days later. Woodchuckers were prompt, quick,efficient,and careful not to damage surrounding shrubs and sprinkler heads. The yard was cleaner than before the tree came down. The workers used boards under their equipment to protect the grass and yard. I did not observe the job, but found out how it went from a neighbor. I made one call and the job was done, and did not miss time from work. The price was very reasonable,compared to prior tree work i have had done. I have had more than ten trees removed over the last ten years by a different tree service that is now out of business. Next time I need a tree removed, i will call Woodchuckers.

After contacting them, they were on-site within 90 minutes. The tree was totally removed from the yard as well as the other branches. They cleaned up all the debris from their cutting. Promised to come back and remove the stump. Very friendly and professionally done job.
