Village Flooring

Village flooring fixed the laminate board and stretched the carpet with no problem and I am happy with that work. ?My issue is with the vinyl. After installation was complete I noticed some marks in the floor in the laundry room and just outside of the laundry room. ?One of the workmen came out and used their cleaner on it trying to remove the marks with no success. ?Mike Kirby, the owner submitted a claim to Mannington flooring and it was denied and I suspect that they believe like I do that it was damaged when they replaced the washer and dryer. ?Mannington recommended trying one of their cleaners. ?Mike provided me with the cleaner and I tried cleaning the floor following the instructions on the cleaner. ?The marks remain. ?I have been in constant email contact with village flooring since the issue was presented to Mike and have all communications as well as pictures?concerning this issue. ?While cleaning the floor, I noticed that the seam was not completely sealed at the time of installation and is now pulling apart and I have made Mike aware of this issue as well. ?I have been trying for 3 months to get this issue resolved and today's communication advised me to purchase new flooring to which they would install at no cost. ?I am very upset with this response as I paid to have new, undamaged flooring installed and instead I received a damaged product. This is terrible customer service and I would ?not recommend this company to anyone in the future.

Carpet seems were not done correctly, even after multiple tries. Owner came after initial complaint, and agreed. Sent same guy who did original work to fix, but he still didn't fix it correctly. Owner and installer were not professional in dealing with our concerns. I won't use them again, and recommend that you avoid them.

This is a great company. They have a small store in Sycamore Square. Their price was very fair. Mike is very knowledgeable. We chose a new product vinyl grouted tile. It has now been in for 6 months and my grout lines are still white it is a great product. I especially like that Mike uses only one person to install his products. You don't have a bunch of people come who don't always work with the store. mike really cares about the store. It is a family run business. Quality, quality, quality!
