Smell had gone away by the time Jeremy arrived. he inspected drain line area and did not find anything. We had had windows open and whole house fan on earlier in week when smell was apparent but it had gone away when we turned air back on. He felt it may have been a backdraft from a vent pipe due to the air flow from whole house fan. Since he did not find a specific problem, he did not charge for the service visit. Will definitely call him next time we need a plumber as he could have easily charged $50 - 100 just to come out.

They showed up told us how much resetting all the toilets would costs, and that we may have a broken flange. Realized our floor was at an angle, and not a broken flange. Shimmed the toilet and made sure they were all good, and just charged us a $35 service charge. We are going to redo the bathroom at some point from issues from the previous owners; he suggested some contractors, and provided pictures of their projects. I dealt with Jeremy on this project, but I have known Cody for some time and cannot recommend him enough. I only put Professionalism as N/A because I was not actually onsite at the time of service, but knowing the company/owner they were very much so.

For the most part, it went well. The owner / lead plumber arrived on time and did his work under the house quickly and efficiently. A helper had some difficulty with the toilet inside the house, that necessitated the lead plumber having another helper return the next day. This, however, was done promptly the next morning and is functioning as desired. I would hire this company again.

Cody was able to come within a few hours of my call, he fixed the clogged line and even charged less than he initially quoted over the phone. My husband liked him, would definitely hire him again.

He located leak and fixed it right then. He told us upfront what the fee would be. I only wished they offered military veterans or senior citizens discounts for this kind of service. They do apparently offer it in bigger jobs but this was big to us. Our service tech was Jeremy. Very polite and friendly

I purchased a duplex home in the fan of Richmond, VA in the heart of the city and made the decision to turn the basement into livable square footage. The only problem with this was the fact that it had only 6 foot of ceiling height. After jack hammering the slab and having the basement dug down 3 feet I came to the conclusion that I would be an idiot not to inspect the sewer / drain lines prior to pouring a new slab. That is when I enlisted the help of USA Pipe Repair. Cody and his staff came out and dug up the existing cast iron from 1916 - the pipe was missing the entire bottom by the way and replaced it with new PVC which the city came and inspected. They added additional drains for the rear stairwells since the doors had to be moved in 18" for the additional steps since the basement had been lowered and we video inspected the sewer line to the city main sewer at my request with his sewer camera. When viewing the video we noticed tree roots growing in the joints of my clay tile sewer line. I had two options. Either dig it up underneath my concrete stairwell (Which houses an old coal shoot) across the sidewalk and 25 feet into the city street (10 feet deep under a heavy traffic area) or to re-line it using cured in place pipelining. I opted for the pipelining. It met all the city codes and would completely eliminate the root intrusion. Cody and his staff re-lined the sewer line aprox 40' with the liner and epoxy resin and even had 5 or 6 of the city inspectors on site for the process to verify the installation success. Once re-lined he explained that the city still has combination sewers. Ok - explain. Rainwater and wastewater flow in the same pipes. This could cause my floor drains to flood if the treatment plant could not keep up with the flow. Great - didn't want to have my new living space flooded so the guys installed a backflow device to stop that from ever happening. To which my homeowners insurance was very happy about. I would highly suggest USA Pipe Repair to anyone. Cody and his staff where professional and on the cutting edge of city approved technology. All the appropriate permits where pulled which made me feel good as the homeowner and they were able to knock this out in as little as 2 days working around my upstairs tenants schedules. Cody even brought my seven year old daughter some bubbles to play with and explained to her what they where doing. USA Pipe Repair was not the first company that I had provide me pricing for this work. I was pretty nervous going with the more reasonable price but the involvement of the city inspectors and the professionalism quickly eased my mind. After calling Home advisor I was called by this company and informed them we have chosen another company. He was very upset and said " You cost me 20 bucks, you suck"

Answered call in a timely manner and was on time on the day of the appointment. He went into my crawl space and came out about 5 minutes later. He told me that I already have a clean out but I didn't know it because it is just inside my crawl space. He also said that he loosened the pipe connection and reached it and cleaned it out with his hand. He pointed out what I need to do differently regarding use of my garbage disposal. Didn't even charge me for a service call! Had I not had an honest plumber, I could have been out hundreds of dollars! Excellent to find this kind of service.

When our hot water heater died, I sent a request on Friday afternoon and Cody contacted us right away. Jeremy came out immediately and gave us a reasonable estimate. He completed the work first thing Monday morning, straightening up some of the sub-par plumbing in our utility room. It was so smooth that I will be contacting these folks in the future and highly recommend them.

Very responsive, pleasant, and efficient. Came on a weekend and completed the work in an hour. Explained to us how we could apply for a partial credit on our water/wastewater utility bill with the County. Would definitely use them again.

Cody (owner) had stopped by to give us a quote on replacing 12 feet of cast-iron waste pipe from an upstairs bathroom that ran over our living room, and we decided to go ahead with that work. On the first day they were to come, another job ran long and they had to reschedule. But they let us know, and rescheduled for the next business day (Monday). He and an associate showed up and got to work as promised on Monday. Unfortunately for them, what should have only taken ~2 hours ended up taking closer to 7 because, well, old houses. Despite that, and multiple trips to get new things that were needed to deal with unforeseen issues, they kept at it and worked hard until the job was done, even though it must have totally screwed up their day's plans! Apparently, they usually do much bigger, outdoor and commercial jobs, as there their bread and butter. The little home ones get scheduled on certain days so they can knock a bunch out in a day. We definitely messed that day's schedule up! But they were very kind and diligent in the work that they completed - they protected our hardwood floors, and cleaned up like a dream (the associate was on his hands and knees with towels to make sure that the ground up rock lath that they had had to cut through didn't scratch or floors). I cannot highly recommend them enough, for big or small jobs I'll call them again (though hopefully not too soon!). Price was $450 (though that was the estimate back when they thought it wouldn't be a terrible pain in the butt) - the Angie's List app isn't letting me put the cost in down there.

I got the number from a friend who used them for a broken sewage pipe. They were able to replace my waterline with out digging up my driveway or patio,by drilling under ground. The only hole was at the edge of my property by the water meter and it was filled and neat when they left. The whole job took only a few hours. NO Mess, No new Grass, No Driveway Patch, Great Service, less Money. I am ecstatic, I will pass the number on also, thanks Noel for the number.
