 + -1 moreWe had Sun Block install window tinting on several windows in our home in 2012 including our sliding glass doors. Recently we had an issue cleaning the sliding glass doors and scratched the film. Called Sun Block back to replace it and found out it was under different ownership in 2012 and the tech who installed the film in 2012 on the doors likely installed it backwards at the time - hence the reason we were able to scratch it relatively easily. (The other windows were done by different techs in 2012 and were installed correctly) The guys that came out this time were absolutely top notch, the doors look great and the owner Steve was very responsive and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending or using them again.

Description of Work: I had this company apply tint to a brand-new Toyota Avalon Hybrid Limited. They broke a defroster trace on my rear window and the owner by phone indicated they would be replacing the rear window and apply new tint. | |The owner promised to call me back several times and NEVER did. Always telling me he "had to talk to someone". And then a couple of months later when I get him on the phone he completely changes his story. And now he says they're not responsible for damages if they tint your car. What a load. | |I've had to take this through the BBB process for a couple of months now (after giving him several months to set this right). And, the situation is still not resolved. He has also been dishonest with the BBB about our original conversation. | |The best advice I can give you is to steer clear of this company. The tinters and guys that work for him are good guys but the owner is not a good person and is definitely not honest .

 + -1 moreEstimate process and actual installation went fine. Estimator was "no show" the first time, but it was a scheduling mix-up at the office, and they were very apologetic. On time the next time. Installers were on time, neat and tidy while they worked. Office answered additional questions that I had after receiving the estimate, promptly sent tax rebate information after the job was done. Everything went smoothly and film looks great. Total job involved 15 windows and one large storm door. I got 4 estimates for this job. Sun Block was neither the least nor most expensive; somewhere in the middle.
Description of Work: Installed window film in sunroom, bedroom, dining room and storm door.

 + -1 moreIn a house this size, the energy bill is always a problem and window tinting seemed a logical way to bring the bills down. We actually found Sun Block in the phone book and took a chance. They did an excellent job for us and it only took them a single day. The supervisor had his people working almost the whole time and they were all very well mannered. The tinting isn't to dark to see out, and has reduced our energy bills substantially.
Description of Work: Sun Block installed window tinting on approximately twenty windows on our five thousand square foot house.

 + -1 moreThey did a great job and there is no bubbling. The tinting carries a lifetime guarantee and it is really nice. They were on time, were very neat and professional. I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: We had 8, thirty six by fifty double hung house windows tinted. They tinted the windows from the inside. It is a dark tint and a sun blocker.
