My air conditioning broke the hottest day of the summer. He came out within a few hours. Looked at my air conditioner and knew what it was immediately. Fixed it right away. Great experience. Very polite.

I had an unbelievably positive experience with Mr. Spenser (Owner) himself. What started as a quote to possibly replace my A/C unit. He ended up fixing it for a reasonable price. Saved me many Thousands. He gave me options if it repeats having issues. He is incredible knowledgeable. I am in the Fan so it can be tricky to get to unit. His equipment to identify issues were state of the art. He was on a mission to find out exactly the issue rather than the usual "You need a new Unit". All within 2 Hours. Would never use anyone else. Spencer Mechanices was great, he was quick to come out and fix my issue as well as spent time educating me on how the AC worked and things to do to keep it running with no issues. My AC was freezing up and he came out Sunday to check it out and see what the issue was then Monday came back with the part. Would of taken weeks with other services.

My AC started not work properly and I noticed my pipes frosting over from the outside unit. It was Sunday. during the Memorial Day weekend, was supposed to be in the 90's all next week and I have 2 kids. I put the feelers out hoping but not expecting a reply to anyone. Within 30 min Spencer Mechanical hit me back and I had the owner in my house troubleshooting within an hour. He was concerned b/c I stated I had 2 kids when I sent out the request and he felt to need to come and help me out. He told me a lot about the system I had (which is old) and what I could do to extend the life as well as showed me what he was doing. Pretty educational tbh. Turns out I didn't have a leak but was a little low on Freon. Ended up getting 4 pounds and with he service it was around $570 with 85% of that going to the Freon alone (stuff is expensive). He noticed that I didn't have caps on a part of my outside unit and stated that he would be back to put some nice brass ones in. He's nice dude from Boston that likes to talk and educate if you're willing to learn. Defiantly recommend especially if you live in the Deer Run/Brandermill/Woodlake area.

Todd did what he said he would do at the price quoted.He replaced my central air quick and cleaned up behind all the old mess from old unit. Todd has great customer service, returns calls promptly very nice guy. If your looking for that good old time service Todd is your guy.

Todd came early, expecting to wait, but I was home, so the whole process was completed early. The problem was straightforward, but he did have to solve a problem with the newer replacement part not fitting the rig for the old one. Todd has a great deal of experience and knowledge, which is reassuring when the issue is so far from my own experience. He was so friendly and straightforward...good to have him on our house's "team."

They were very responsive (called me within 10 minutes of requesting quote), they gave me multiple options, they were on time and the owner called to check after the job was complete to make sure everything was OK with the installation and to see if I had any questions or concerns. They also provided a written guarantee for their work

Spencer Mechanical will be my FIRST call from now on whenever I need HVAC service. As is usual, the A/C decided to call it quits on a hot and humid day and I needed service fast! I went to HomeAdvisor and checked the reviews where I found Spencer Mechanical and they were actually in my neighborhood, so I set up an appointment online. Unfortunately, HomeAdvisor was unable to confirm the appointment when I had requested and cancelled it. So, I called Spencer Mechanical directly and was fortunate to have Todd Spencer answer the phone personally. I explained my situation and Todd told me that he would be happy to stop by the next afternoon since I lived in his community. He checked my system and diagnosed the problem right away, (low coolant and a bad fan capacitor). He actually went home to get a replacement capacitor since he didn't have the right one on his truck and returned within 20 minutes, as promised. Unfortunately, it turned out that not only was the capacitor bad but, the main circuit board was also bad and he did not have one for my model heat pump. He told me that he would order it that evening and that he would have it available the next day. True to his word, he showed up the next afternoon, once I got home, with the new circuit board in hand. The new board actually turned out to be more expensive than he thought. Realizing that I was on a very tight budget, Todd was very gracious and EXTREMELY helpful and worked with me to make some payment arrangements even though his company didn't offer financing as an option. I cannot say enough about how pleased I was with Todd Spencer and his service, especially after being misled and VERY disappointed in the work of One Hour Air Conditioning the last time I had problems with my HVAC. I will always call Todd Spencer FIRST from now on for any mechanical work. Thank you Todd!
