I could not have asked for a better contractor for this job. Todd was phenomenal. The job turned into a difficult one and he was here for three days and spent at least five times more time than he budgeted when he quoted me a price, but stuck to the original quote even though I'm sure he lost a ton of money on it. He was professional, courteous, polite, caring and sympathetic. I would hire him again in a heartbeat and recommend him to anyone who needs work done.

Not only did Todd Spencer install a new water heater, but he also repaired our gas furnace that 2 other companies said needed replaced even though it is only 9 years old. And he is going to be able to repair a 9 year old upstairs A/C system that we were told by the same other 2 companies needed replaced. He will be saving us several thousands of dollars. We also have another furnace that will need replaced and he is working on an estimate for that. Very intelligent (engineer), very responsive, extremely communicative - takes time to explain things and answer our questions. We're glad ServiceMagic put us in touch with him. DA, Midlothian

Service was timely and installation was done as promised. However, perhaps since I called on a Sunday [install was Monday], he quoted a price of $900. I later looked up the water heater online and found I could buy it retail for about $450. Made the labor charge about $225 an hour!

Received a phone call 15 minutes after contacting service magic, a service man came the same day. I was very impressed with the prompt service. My air conditioner was fixed and I was happy to have the service done for a reasonable price.

Very happy with the service we received from Todd - we discovered our water heater was leaking the night before we left for vacation, but a neighbor was able to let him in and inspect it. Once he determined that it needed to be replaced, he turned off the water and power, so it wouldn't keep leaking in our absence. The two guys who came to do the work were professional, and the entire job took about 3 hours. Very reasonable price, with a 1-year warranty on the work. Very happy!

I called Mr. Spencer that night and discussed my problem. He was out at my house the next day and was able to fix my air conditioner. He also detected another problem that was going to be under warrenty. He was straight forward, professional and courteous. I willl use him again for any future issues I may have.

He replaced our old water heater and did some other plumbing work and we are totally satisfied with the end product.
