At first I was concerned because we saw ants the next day, however, it must have taken a few days to work 100%, because the ant invasion is gone.

the vendor was not very helpful and said that I should not have purchased the coupon because we had been a customer in the past. The offer said nothing about only new customers. We never were able to schedule the service with them and lost the money we spent on the service.

Spouse saw a couple of small, fast bugs on the countertop near the kitchen sink - she freaked. I went on Angie's List and bought this big deal. He came out quickly and sprayed outside parimeter and inside around the kitchen counter (also the bathrooms, and utility room just in case). Great job and quick. After he left, I sealed the space between the countertop and wall (just in case) and no bugs since.

Nice staff but they never seemed to be able to get the job done. Had them for ~18 months. We experienced multiple ant issues and had SPC out several times but SPC could never get rid of them. Fired SPC and hired another provider recommended by a friend and the ants are now gone in one visit. Comments from the other technican were that the products used previously were and quot;cheapand quot; and and quot;not that effectiveand quot;. Don't know about the cheap but I can attest to the and quot;not that effectiveand quot; part.

Scheduling the appointment was a breeze. It was so easy, and the receptionist was exceptionally nice. On 4/16/2014 at 10 on the dot, the technician arrived. He explained thoroughly what he was going to do, he walked through the house to see that he could maneuver well and that he had access to as much of the area that he needed to fully spray in each room, and then he got down to business. He completed his work outside, and started at the top floor of the house and worked his way down systematically, and then answered all my questions about the company. I was very pleased with the service.

Matt, the inspector, arrived a few minutes early. That was fine. He explained what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. He first inspected the interior walls and then did an inspection of the exterior. Finally, Matt went into the crawl space and did a thorough inspection of that area. After he finished the inspection he stated that while there looked to be a previous termite treatment, there was no evidence of any termites and that the area was dry. He then proceeded to treat the exterior walls of the house with a general pesticide. The service was excellent and I would recommend the company to anyone.

I called Southern after another company recommended a proactive termite treatment prior to having my crawl space encapsulated, even though I had no evidence of prior termite activity. This treatment would cost $597 and consist of trenching and liquid treatment as would be done if they had found evidence. This was recommended as a preventive option to avoid having to remove the liner if there were future activity, and the technician advised that this would last 10-15 years. Southern said that their recommendation after a clean inspection was an exterior granular treatment which comes with a one-year warranty against termite damage for $133. I decided to go for that, and I'm very glad I did. The technician, Jared, agreed that there was no evidence of prior termite activity, and he told me that there were multiple sets of holes drilled in the block foundation, indicating that a proactive termite treatment had been done at least twice in the past. This made me feel better about my decision not to do the full preventive treatment for $597, and I wish I'd had that information all along. I plan to use Southern as my termite company from now on. Both the office staff and Jared were very professional, and Jared answered all my questions about the treatment chemical as well as advising me to make sure my dog didn't eat it during the few days it would take to dissolve. I also like that they have 7 p.m. appointments available.

The tech walked around the perimeter of my back yard (less than 5 minutes) lightly spraying the bushes. It worked for about 2 weeks which was perfect for my event! I wouldn't pay the standard $200 charge for the service but the $50 deal was worth the 2 weeks. You just can't control flying bugs.

The tech Johnny showed up on time and was very professional. He explained everything he was going to do and took the time to answer all of our questions. I had originally purchased the $64 special for perimeter spraying but I put it towards a one year contract to make sure no further issues surface. I was assured that Southern Pest would come out to my house any time I saw bugs and wanted spraying. It takes a while to see results with spraying so I may have to do a followup in several months.

They'll come back annually to inspect. He just seemed to go beyond the call of duty. He went under the house. It seemed like we got our money's worth. They were competitive.

That turned out okay. One employee came out and did the interior and exterior treatment pest treatment. I had them treat for ants and the treatment took care of the problem for about 6 months.

They set traps all over the house and came out recently to a follow up. I have used this company in the past too for some pest treatment as well.

We had an issue with roaches at the home. The deal was for a one time visit but roach problems usually take a few treatments. They tried to convince us to come out for additional treatments as the service did not resolve the issues.

Everything was good. I think the guy just came and sprayed something like corners, edges and everywhere in the entire house. I may use them again in the future.

It was fine. We had an ant infestation on our rental property and they took care of that. I think they had to come back once for retreatment but it's been fine. They came on schedule and they did a good job. Generally, I'm very satisfied.

Pretty well... definitely a reduction in Mosquitos, but did not eliminate them. I would use the company in the future, just not sure the mosquito product was helpful for our area.

The service is great. I tried Frontline Pest and saw bugs all the time. With Southern Pest, the bugs are gone. Outstanding and well worth it!

It worked out pretty well. We did have a small issue but they took care of it right away. Scheduling went well and they coordinated great with my schedule. The results are good.

Didn't happen, when I returned from vacation (mid-Sept) the weather was cool

Sprayed Mosquito barrier in the yard. Went well, but kept having mosquito issues, although greatly reduced.

These guys were great. Prior to a major, planned project I had my house inspected for termites, etc. At the last minute I asked them to also check the (old, 1940's) garage. The technician arrived on time and did a thorough check. The house was fine (as it was 10 years ago when I bought it) BUT it turned out that I had a longstanding termite infection in the garage--15 - 20 years or more. Because of the construction of the walls/cement slab floor, he had to use two methods of control, plus, he pointed out a serious construction problem I should have noticed myself. I also had the perimeter of the house treated for bugs in general. I've seen one or two ants in the kitchen since then (not a real problem), but am more than grateful to be rid of the longstanding termite issue in my garage. Scheduling was prompt and easy, and the technician was on time, pleasant, knowledgable, and efficient. Work done exceeded my expectations.

My husband and I are long term renters of a single family home. Our pest control service is provided for by our very wonderful landlord. I have called Southern Pest Control to the house over the course of two years for extermination of mice in the attic as well and American Cockroaches. Neither of which were effectively eradicated. I had very inconsistent experiences with Southern Pest Control. In an attempt to help us eradicate the pest problems, our landlord requested one particular technician to be the sole provider of our pest control. But it seemed that every time the requested technician came to the house he had a different story as to how bad the problem was prior to our moving in. On one occasion he told me that only seeing one or two roaches daily was really good for this house given it's prior history and the next occasion he exclaimed that the prior occupants never had a problem this big. The final straw was an indecent where I was in the attic with the technician listening for mice. We both heard squeaking. He declared it to be a bat and stated that they didn't handle eradication of bats. Ok... that's all fine, however, when I asked him how all these critters were getting in, he stated that finding the entry points was like finding a needle in a haystack. With that, he left the attic. He then stated that he didn't think the mice were going to be an issue any longer. Mouse droppings are still EVERYWHERE in the attic spaces including the interior of the bait stations left from previous visits. I've had several instances since with mice dying in the walls and ceilings in my guest bedroom. Now my guest bed room stinks to high heaven of dead rotting critters. Mice, unfortunately, are still an issue. I guess when it comes down to it, this is a band-aid on a broken arm approach isn't getting the job done. Without being able to tell me how these animals are getting into the house, there is no real way of getting rid of the infestation. So they continue to come in, eat the bait then die in the walls. My landlord called Connor's Pest Control for a second opinion. Connor's proved the presence of bats, mice and American Cockroaches in the attic spaces. The inspecting technician showed me a couple of suspected entry points, and stated that without fixing them the only thing that any pest control service could do is continue to bait and kill critters that come in. This is awful. He did, however, tell me to use Spearmint oil on cotton balls in the area with a lot of mouse droppings to help deter any more from coming in. He said that there were a couple of screens to the crawl space that had holes in them. He said he didn't think they were actually using them as an avenue to get into the house but that a little steal wool stuffed into the holes couldn't hurt. He said that the door from the outside into the crawlspace had big gaps and that they needed to be sealed to keep any more critters from getting in easily. He was actually quite helpful. He gave me some advise that might actually help.
