It turned out great. I have absolutely no complaints about them. It went very well. The work was done quickly and the electrician that came out was very professional. He assessed what was needed to be done and did it quickly.

Brad showed up promptly at 8am and was ready to go. He was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He was able to complete each of the items listed within the 1-hour time frame. Additionally, Brad was able to answer additional questions that i had regarding other electrical needs I may have in the very near future. I am incredibly pleased with the workmanship and would definitely hire SJ Ryan Electric again. In fact, I'm going to schedule them again for some additional recess lighting that is needed.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it worked out just fine. There were actually here about 40 to 45 minutes.

Sean contacted me after I signed up for the Deal, and we agreed on a date. Unfortunately, I had another business situation which cropped up just when Ryan showed up, and before I could contact them. They were perfectly nice about it, and we rescheduled it, and Brad came out. A dimmer light knob for a hanging lamp had broken off, so the whole box had to be changed out. I had the second box replaced so the knobs would match. An outdoor wrought iron motion detector had stopped working, and I purchased a new one. It did not attach to the wall in the same way, but after some trial and error, Brad was eventually able to get it to fit. Since the old motion detector still worked as a light, it was moved to replace a third light. The work was very straight forward, and done very professionally. If I need any more electrical work done I will use SJ Ryan. A side note is that they pro-rate by the 1/2 hour after the first hour.

On time, professional service.

the electrician arrived on time and I told my 3 problems that needed to be fixed. He immediately diagnosed the problem and explained to me what need to be done. The young man was very knowledgeable and gave me good ideas on all my questions. My jobs were done quickly and efficiently within an hour. I finally found a good electrician and will recommend SJ Ryan to others.

Everything went very well from the scheduling to the service call. The tech was professional and worked quickly. He provided helpful information on my lighting options when I expressed that I wanted to replace one of the fixtures. He also clarified the purpose of a mystery wire I had hanging from and outlet ( it was actually just wired to come out next to the outlet but was for a garage door opener). It was a great service call at a great price. Will use this provider for future electrical needs.

This was a "Big Deal" order. I was very pleased with SJ Ryan Electric. Brad arrived on time and went right to work. I had moved my washer and dryer from upstairs laundry room to main floor laundry room. The dryer had a 4 prong cord that needed to be changed to a 3 prong in order to work with the outlet. Brad discovered that the outlet was a range outlet instead of a 3 prong dryer outlet and my dryer cord was 4 prong. He changed the dryer cord to 3 prong, replaced the outlet and reattached the wiring for the downstairs laundry room that had been wired for upstairs. I would not hesitate to recommend SJ Ryan Electric and if needed in the future will definitely call them again.

I bought the GFI that needed to be installed. The guy came out to put it in, but he let me know my hour was almost up. He said for some reason there wasn’t any electricity coming through so he would have to come back and charge for an additional hour at $40.00. He then came back and brought someone else with him. When they came, they looked at the GFI for about 5 minutes and then said it was fixed. They then gave me a bill for $80.00 because they both came out. I feel as if this was a scam. They seem to take advantage of older people. I want to protect others against this company. They also put the wrong time on their bill. They said they were here at 1:30 and finished at 2:30 on the bill but that's not true either. They started at 2 and finished a short while after

We were impressed with the company all around. We left a message on their voice mail on a Sunday, assuming they would pick it up the following day. Our call was returned within a couple hours and they had a man out here the following morning. He was polite, professional, and quickly diagnosed the real problem. He cleaned up everything very nicely before leaving. Highly recommend.

Sean Ryan was very prompt in responding to all calls and emails. He was able to schedule the estimate and then the work only a few days after the initial contact through Angie's List. The work was performed by James who was assisted by Justin. James was very knowledgeable. Both men worked continuously and checked numerous times that we were satisfied with what was done. After the work was completed and before the bill arrived, Sean sent an email to check that we were satisfied. The final invoice was for less than the estimate and included the 5% Angie's List discount. We have no complaints and would gladly recommend this company to anyone looking for an electrician.

Great job from start to finish! When Sean came out to our house to estimate the job, he was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. He gave a very fair estimate with breakdowns for additional jobs that we will have done in the future. The two techs he sent out were equally good- very considerate and knew what they were doing. I was especially appreciative of how careful they were not to cut any more drywall than was absolutely necessary for the job. I'll definitely use them in the future.

They arrived right on time and immediately assessed what needed to be done and got right to work. Both of the young men working were polite and knew what they were doing. They explained everything they were doing and I was confident throughout the entire process that the work would be done correctly.

He was on time. He did not put down the other company. He was very professional and cleaned up after himself.

Sean was extremely punctional and professional in coming over to give us an estimate. He made several very good suggestions on planning out exactly what we wanted done. He emailed his estimate over the weekend, and we scheduled the job. His crew was right on time, very pleasant, professional, and responsive to a few minor adjustments as the installation progressed. We are very happy with work and the way they did it. We will call him again if we have any more electrical work to be done.

Friendly, knowledgable, timely, and professional. They arrived on time and answered all of our questions and suggested some additional ideas that we plan on acting on. It wasn't in the manner of trying to up sell us but give us quality information, they billed us later on and all worked out great.
