All of our trim needs to be replaced. We have a window that doesn't match any other windows. We have missing and torn screens. There is paint on our hardwood floors, that have also been scratched. There is a wall in the kitchen that has bowed out since we have moved in. We have tried to reach out to them several times to fix the defects, and they never come. They have promised to come and then they never show up.

At first things went fairly well, but there were some signs of trouble early on that I just overlooked as part of the home building process, such as not answering the phone, returning calls, and not showing up to appointments. Things moved along fairly well in the beginning, a few hiccups but nothing major. It was early March when I started having concerns that the house would not be done on time. The week I was to move in they took a draw, which amounted to 97%+ of the total cost of the house. There were numerous unfinished items and a large number of quality issues at this point, but they assured me it would get fixed. That was almost eight weeks ago. Here is what I have been left with.. a deck that should not have passed code(verified by the county), a window that won't open, a stained shingle roof, that wont come clean, a scratched and dented metal roof, crooked sheetrock, a door that won't close, one door warped to the point of seeing light around the edge of it, a six foot crack in the grout in the masterbath, a brick that fell off the front stairs, sloppy mortar and brick work, uncaulked trim joints, numerous other quality issues as well as not installing things I have paid for. Unbelievably, I have yet to close on the house, and can't, until they do something. Calls, emails, and texts to the owner go unanswered. I call the office and they have no answers for me. The county has called twice about the deck, and still nothing has been done. It seems as though, once they got the money, there was not much motivation to come back and finish the job. It should have been a happy and exciting time for my family, but it has been anything but. Others in my neighborhood have had similar experiences. I even filed a complaint with the BBB 10 days ago and still no response. Poor business.
