I signed a contract with this company on February 7th for the project to be started in March. He didn't show up until June and all he did was put some posts in and drill some holes. After this he didn't come back for six weeks and now we haven't seen him in 2 and a half months.

I based my score on fact that I didn’t hire them so I don’t know about the quality of their work. Although I was satisfied with my initial communication with them, I decided to sell my home without installing a fence so I no longer needed this project done.

I wanted to respond in more detail. I called Precision Trim back in June for an estimate for deck repairs and left a voicemail. I needed to have the support posts and beam replaced along with a set of steps. Garnet Bass returned my call a few days later and scheduled to stop by 3 hours later for the estimate at 6pm. I normally work until 6pm so I took an hour of my vacation time to leave work early to meet him. He never showed. Around 7pm I called and left a voicemail. He responded that he was at his grandson's baseball game. Just three hours earlier he told me he would meet me at 6pm. So I lost an hour of my vacation time for no reason. The next evening he showed up unexpectedly. He seemed nice and knowledgeable, so at that point it didn't really bother me so much about not showing up at the original time scheduled. He said he would send an estimate later that week. After a week I called asking for the status of the estimate. I received a text that he has a new granddaughter and will get back with me. After waiting two weeks I called back. He sent me the estimate and I signed and we scheduled for 8/14. I also had questions regarding the estimate and materials being used, since there wasn't much detail in the estimate. So in my email along with the signed estimate I asked some questions and never received a response. I sent several more emails with these questions, as well as left several voice mails and text messages with these questions with no response over the following several weeks. About 5 weeks pass and a week before the repairs I sent another email along with those questions as well as asking if they still planned to be onsite on 8/14 for the repairs, since I needed to make arrangements at work to be off that day. I received a two word email response, "yes sir", with once again no answers to any of my questions. At this point I seriously doubted they would even show and I even mentioned to a relative I seriously doubt they will bother to show up. So, its 8/14 and I took the day off from work. It’s about 11am and no word from Precision Trim. I called and left a voicemail then later sent a text and called again, no answer. I later received a text early in the afternoon that his son broke his knee. I texted him that I was sorry about the incident with his son's knee, but I did want to know if the job would need to be cancelled. I took two days off from work that week to be home for the repairs and if they needed to cancel I wanted to return to work. So I text him about rescheduling and he replied that he would get back with me. Several days pass and at the end of that week I leave a voicemail asking about rescheduling. I believe his son works with him, so I wasn't sure if this meant I would need to cancel my contract and hire someone else. There was no response to my call so I sent another email and text. No response. Two more weeks pass and two more weeks of unanswered phone calls, emails and text messages. At this point I figured I wa
