Description of Work: Refinish and stain 2 sets of stairs and family room and dining room. Also had some bad boards replaced.

Description of Work: He was real personable and seemed knowledgeable and said he would get a quote in a few days. We called and called and his receptionist would say that he'd get right back to us but he never did.

Description of Work: Mike's very cordial crew sanded and refinished our badly gouged pine floors and they look SPECTACULAR! Mike was always ready and willing to work with us and when my husband was adamant about NOT moving out while the floors were being refinished, and was quite willing to replace rather than refinish, Mike worked with us by using a water based finish - top of the line according to the many reviews I read on the internet - and when I expressed displeasure in the difference in color in the molding and the floors, he met us halfway, even more so, and replaced the offending quarter round. The difference was like night and day! I cannot say enough about promises made and the work completed and there is little wonder why he has such incredible reviews on this list. We had been told by another company that 1. our floors were too 'gouged' and the scratches would never come out - thus we must replace... 2. the difference in the color of the sun faded floors in comparison to the floor under the rugs could never be made the same color again and would always look 'two-toned' ... None of this was true as our floors are all the same color, there are no gouges left and they look better than new! Don't even hesitate - Mike Myers' Floors has this reputation because they ARE excellent in their work ethics and the finished product. I could not be more pleased! If all contractors worked with the same ethics the BBB and this list would be out of business! Oh, an addendum - Mike recommended and we hired Tom Ellis to move our furniture from the house to our double garage and they also have the same outstanding ethics, in fact, so much so that we are considering hiring them to move us when our house is sold. Mike,thank you for a job well done! We are SO pleased!
