Description of Work: Two punctual and polite movers came and did a careful job unloading our POD and moving furniture back into our house after we had our wood floors refinished. They did a great job and I enjoyed working with this company.

The price/hr was higher than some other moving companies around however the quality of service was outstanding. They were almost 40 min late however they called to tell me and kept me well informed of their eta. Would definitely use them again!

Description of Work: Picked up a China cabinet from a store and delivered to my home where they set it up. Very expensive for one hour's work for two men but well worth it to me. They did a very professional job and I would use them for bigger moves in the future for sure.

Description of Work: My husband and I can't do heavy lifting any more and we needed to have some large oak furniture moved to have some painting done. Since the pieces were only moved within a room, I can't say much about a normal move. However, I did find the team willing and helpful.

Description of Work: We moved from a 1400 sq ft townhouse to a larger home. Most of our stuff was already loaded and moved to the new location in a POD storage unit. The movers were late due to a mover not being available, but they quickly communicated that and the reason for the delay. They also gave updates along the way to ensure we were aware of the situation. All three men were efficient and professional. They automatically got to work protecting all of the items and even protected our floors! The movers were really awesome and I would definitely hire them again. The only issue I had was the end cost...somehow it was a bit more than I was expecting. It could have been my calculations, but it seemed more than what I would have paid elsewhere, even factoring in the deal I got from Angie's list. I think they worked a total of 6 hours, which included an hour of driving time. Beyond the surprising cost, everything else was great and I would definitely use them again. Great company!

Description of Work: A team of five, as promised, with 2 trucks arrived and promptly went to work on my moving day, professionally wrapping every piece of furniture. They worked well together, were very pleasant, and were willing to do anything required. I recommend them highly and I was so pleased with the moving and delivery service they performed . They protected the newly refinished floors and freshly painted walls in my new home and handled everything with great care. A great service delivered by courteous and strong men. I thought it was a fair and reasonable price.

Description of Work: J&M moved our furniture. We have large, old, good antiques. They were ultra careful with them. They would survey the path needed, come up with a plan and work together to execute the plan. To a man, they were very hard working, very careful and very polite. When we discovered that the truck they had brought was not tall enough to move our antique grandfathers clock standing up (which is a requirement), they brought in a taller truck to make sure that the clock was moved correctly.

Description of Work: Good thing I checked the attic. I had specifically told them to empty it and they left items up there that I had to take care of myself. Enough so it filled up the back seat and trunk of my SUV.

Description of Work: Move furniture from home to storage unit. The guys did a great job, were very professional and I appreciated that they took steps to protect my furniture as if it were their own. There was a bit of a miscommunication with scheduling but we got it done and I was very pleased with their services.
