J&M Moving Services

My sincere apologies..... I called and left a message and believed I never got a response. I was wrong. I got a notification yesterday that I had one voice mail, but when I checked I had 19 voice mails going all the way back to January that I had never received notifications on, (thanks to my phone or carrier), and one of the first was from J&M ! I have no clue what happened, but I do apologize. I will be calling J&M back & groveling! I still need the junk hauled !

The 2 gentleman who did the work were professional, hardworking, courteous and thorough. Couldn't have asked for a better job.

I call them and they came right away to pick up a large BBQ grill and a dorm size mini fridge. The were polite and professional. I would hire them again!

the only problem was the service provider took several days to call to schedule the pick-up and did so only after Angie's list called him.

Crew was there within an hour of my phone call! Very nice, very professional. It went well. I would definitely hire them again without question.

Mark and his team were very professional and eager to please. In talking to him, I discovered that they also did yard clean up. I had them come out the following weekend to clean up the back yard and trim shrubs. After the yard work was complete, Mark followed up in person to make sure everything was completed and to my satisfaction. Well Done!

Excellent !!! I was not expecting to talk with the owner of the company when I called J & M, but that's who I got- Mr. Mark Mosley. It was short notice ( called Saturday afternoon, and asked if possible to schedule next day pick up - Sunday ), and instead of saying he couldn't, he shared that he was already booked for Sunday, but asked if he could call me back after he confirmed all appointments - he called back within the hour to let me know he could fit me in. The two gentlemen who showed up to pick up stuff were very nice, friendly and professional. I would definitely use J&M again, and will be referring them to others. Found out they also take care of snow removal, shoveling, and plowing, along with driveway salting. Another plus, there aren't many places that are open on Sundays, but they are.

They arrived right on time ready to get to work! Tyrone, Tyrann, and Jason were great. I have to admit, when I realized they didn't have a dolly on the truck, I was concerned about the extra time it would take! But, to my amazement, what took former movers 6.5 hours only took these 3 men 3.5 hours. And they delivered items to two different locations damage to any of my furniture or belongings. I would highly recommend these gentlemen and J&M Moving! From the first call to the last handshake, this was a great experience! Thanks guys!

They said that they didn't move grand pianos. I am grateful for that honesty. By not jumping to grab the money they recommended that I use another vendor. Thanks. Saying no is a good thing when the job is not compatible.

As usual, it went off without a hitch. And, very quickly. I called Mark on Wednesday and told him what I needed. He's said he could certainly do it.... and as quickly as the next day. I went to the warehouse club and purchased the unit. Then sent a text message and photo to J & M with a copy of my sales receipt. A couple of hours later, Mark's guys stopped by BJs, showed the receipt and loaded it onto their truck. Less than 30 minutes later, it was sitting in my basement. I can't say enough about Mark and his guys. We used them as a true mover when we moved from one home to another four years ago and they did a fantastic job. Good and bad. The good Two men arrived on time, actually 30 min early Both were professional and courteous Finished the original job early and asked if there was anything else they could move to use up the remaining time The Bad Never received confirmation call on night before move. I had to call them the following morning to confirm Trim piece on tall dresser was broken off and not returned Wall in stairway was scraped when dresser was carried upstairs Spoke with owner about missing trim piece. Said he'd ask both movers. He asked the first ,then called me to say he hadn't found it but would ask the second mover. Never heard another word. I guess the cost to replace the trim and fix the scrape on the walls is all mine. I should have noted both on the order form - that was my fault.

I felt the deal was misleading, they were two and a half hours, and they left grease marks down the stairs. They were overall polite, however I feel it wasn't a professional job.

It went very well. I had color coded the boxes and gave the movers a map to help facilitate efficiency. The move ended 30 minutes prior to the time quoted. (I was adamant on needing the move completed by noon.) We received a phone call the night before to confirm the scheduled start time and a call ahead of time the following morning to let us know they were running behind. Couldn't be happier with the service they provided! Would highly recommend!

They were on time, and demonstrated a positive attitude. Though some pieces of the furniture were very heavy, they did not complain and the handle everything with care. Your staff were pleasant professional at all times.

This is the second time within a year I've used J&M. We purchased a new home and J&M moved the bulk of our furniture to the new location. We left several pieces behind for 'staging' purposes while we tried to sell the old house. Our old house finally sold and I didn't hesitate to have J&M move the remaining furniture to our new house. After contacting Mark, we scheduled the move for the very next day. His crew arrived on time and treated our possessions as if they were their own. The move out of the old house and move in to the new house went smoothly and quickly. I thought their rates were also very good. I would definitely call them again if I ever need moving services.

Very pleased with the moving company. They were late to arrive however the owner did call and explain. They took their time with the move and they did an excellent job. Antoine and his helper did a professional job. They didn't break or damage anything. The packaging was well done. After wards they assisted in setting up the furniture. Owner provided also my sister with a discount of 10%. We really appreciate it.

It's okay. They were slower than I expected. They were here awhile ago, July 21st. I had a hundred off so it was like $300. I wish you had a lot more movers instead of just one in choice. I like the deal, it was like a hundred dollars off, it's a really great deal but there are not a lot of choices.

When I called, they immediately scheduled the move the next day. The movers showed up as expected and completed everything quickly.

Mark did a good job quoting the work and giving us a clear idea of how he would handle the move (2 trucks, 6 men). He gave us an estimate of the time it would take (plus or minus an hour he guessed), and quoted a charge of $250/hr. plus a set-up charge of $250. They arrived on time with plenty of moving blankets, and packing supplies. His crew worked very hard and carefully all day and got the work done within his estimate, at the high end. The crew foreman was excellent, all the men were friendly and worked diligently all day long. The guy who directed the packing of the truck that was all boxes was an artist, you couldn't have fit in one more shoe box when he was done, and we needed all the space we could get as we have a lot of stuff! Our new house had just been completely painted, and after a day of moving in boxes and furniture (including putting a lot in the attic), it was still spotless - a really good and careful job. I thought the price was fair considering how hard the men all worked to get the job done. All of our stuff was in excellent shape, nothing damaged or lost. I would definitely recommend Mark and his crew and will use them again if the need arises.

Mark is awesome, punctual, very polite and professional, we didn't have to do a thing other than call. This is the second time that we've used J&M Moving, they were very accommodating, even taking a trailer of trash to the dump for us.

My experience with them worked out okay. Prior to purchasing the Big Deal, I called the owner and talked to him about the job and what I needed done. He recommended that I buy the Big Deal, which was way over what I needed to get done. It was like for four hours and I only needed 90 minutes. I tried to get money back from him and he was rude. Then he calmed down and eventually agreed to give me some more time, but he made me pay $50 for it. The work they did was very good. They were careful. The work was fine, I was just not happy with the owner. It would have been better if I didn't buy the Big Deal and just paid them by the hour.

After some recent water damage, I needed moving services to remove trash for the dump as well as remove furniture and move furniture to other rooms while repair work was being done. The two movers showed up (a bit late due to another job) and began work, completing the entire job under two hours. They were careful, quick, and professional. Will hire them again.
