Description of Work: The 2 movers moved a 2-bedroom house full of furniture from a "pod" sitting in our driveway to a moving truck. Too much for us to accomplish, but they it done in an hour and in such a manner that we had 'extra' room in the truck for additional boxes and furniture. I've already recommended this company to friends who needed moving services.

Description of Work: They removed a door to get furniture in and took it with them. Would not respond and would not return it. It took 4 or 5 men way longer to move the furniture out of storage than it had taken 2 men the to move it into storage. Owner was a complete jerk, did not want to honor the angies list deal. Total A**.

Description of Work: Used J&M to move a stackable washer and dryer up a narrow staircase. The movers from Home Depot refused to do it. J&M agreed to make it their first stop to coincide with the Home Depot. They did a great job, as they have in the past in moving piano's for me. Clearly there is a great deal of pride in the business and the work they do. I love these guys.

I moved 12 miles. |*Movers did not carry their own tools and obviously did not know how to un-attach and re-attach a washer to the water supply. |*These movers are THE MUSCLE, i.e. their specialty is lifting heavy items, not making sure they arrive unbroken. If you don't pack your things very, very carefully, fragile items will be damaged. A solid cherry dining room credenza was covered in a black quilt and left in the sun, resulting in heat/sweat damage to the piece. A seasoned furniture mover should know how heat affects wood.
