My heating unit went our on a Saturday Jan 27 2017. I called my warranty company which dispatched Indoor Air of VA. The whole process went great, the gentleman was very nice and pleasant when he showed up. He spent less then 5 minutes under my house diagnosing the problem. That is where every thing went down hill. The man from Indoor air of Va told me I needed a new blower motor. He explained to me that he could get the part and be back to repair in with in 48 hours if the warranty company would let him. A week later I call my warranty company to find out that they have not heard a word from him and are waiting on a diagnoses on the unit. The 2-10 warranty company contacted him while I was on the phone and got the diagnoses needed. I was then told it would be a special order part that should be available to be installed by mid week the following week. I call the contractor after getting off the phone with the warranty company and he told me he could possibly still get the part faster and he would call me the next day to let me know. On Tuesday the 6th of February I received a call from the warranty company telling me that Indoor Air of Va was refusing to complete the job without explanation. They had no choice but to return the special order part to the company and start all over with another contractor. I called the gentleman from Indoor Air of VA, and he told me they where taking a couple days off due to a family issue. When I asked him why could he not call me and let me know and what happened to the calling me back last Friday? He then told me that he doesn't have to call me and tell me anything. He said that I was not his customer 2-10 home warranty was, and he doesn't owe me any explanation. I told him I was going to write a bad review and he said he didn't care about reviews. This is going to end up costing me a second deductible for the new contractor, yes Indoor Air of VA was happy to cash my check even though I'm not his customer. It is also going to delay the repair an additional week or more, if the original diagnoses was correct, so the special order part can be reordered. This man was paid 100 dollars by me, plus what ever he billed the warranty company for being under my house less than 5 minutes. He was rude on the phone and I would not recommend any one ever due business with him.

First, as a business owner I would like you to notice all reviews are from home warranty customers. On these our customer is the home warranty not the persons complaining and we have to follow there request. But there is misinformation from this person I have never met. The claim had not been turned in after just 2 days, because the warranty company likes us to check and try to get local and I had call in with the local distributor. When I turned it into the home warranty I told them the home owner wanted me to call him back. The home warranty told me "we will call our customer back tonight". Remember they are my customers, I have to follow there rules. The refusing to do the job with no explanation is untrue. I ask the home warranty to reassign because there was a death in the family and the part was in. I knew his wifes medical history and knew she needed heat. He will not pay another trade fee, in fact he is getting his money back from the home warranty and will still get serviced. Had I not had the job reassigned I knew it would be about a week and knew he was anxious to get motor in. I stand by my decision to have reassigned. I did not tell Mr I did not care about ratings, But at that point I had just got word of the death and had other things on my mind.

Description of Work: Indoor Air of Virginia, LLC was dispatched to repair my air conditioner unit on 7/22/2017 by my home warranty company. Since 7/22/2017 was a Saturday, Indoor Air of Virginia received the work order on Monday, 7/24/2017. I called Indoor Air on Monday, 7/24/2017, to schedule an appointment. The owner said he would get my address information from the information sent to him by the warranty company; he then said he would be out to my home on Tuesday, 7/25/2017 between 8am and 1pm and would call me before he came because a lot of times people get somebody else to do work before he shows up to do work, and they don't let him know so he calls to confirm appointments prior to going to the appointment. I then called my warranty company on Monday, 7/24/2017 around 9:45am to verify my work order had been sent to Indoor Air after I spoke with Indoor Air on 7/24/2017; my warranty company told me that my work order had been sent to Indoor Air. On Tuesday, 7/25/2017, at 12:30pm I had not heard from Indoor Air so I called Indoor Air and was told they did not receive a work order for my air conditioner work from my warranty company so I wasn't on their list to service. I then called my warranty company again on 7/25/2017 and told them Indoor Air indicated they did not receive a work order for me and was told by warranty company that was not true. I recommend that you DO NOT USE AIR INDOOR because they are not a reliable company for customers who have a home warranty; if you have a home warranty you will not be prioritized.

This is another home warranty. This person is not our customer and is a customer of a local home warranty. The customer did call us and we told them we would get back after we received the paperwork. Since the customers get our company and another confused we make sure we get the ticket. Second, during the summer calls get transferred and canceled quickly so a call the night before and while on [Member Information Removed] is our and the warranties policy. When I get a call at 10am and receive 100 calls, they confirmation emails is the only [Member Information Removed] to track calls. When this home warranty customer called I was helping a 80 year old women with a washer issue because she didn't know who to call and we had been there days earlier on a unrelated issue. I simply asked her to call the home warranty to make sure we were her service provider and resend the order because we have not received it. We handle warranty claims daily, we also accommodate many when we can, during peak times that is impossible. but we have thousands of happy warranty customers.

2013 - The compressor broke and they replaced it. 2014 ? I noticed extremely high heat bills early the next winter where the unit was running continually on heat strips. Indoor Air responded and disappeared doing nothing. Two other companies were sent to diagnose and both said the compressor was installed wrong and shorted the condenser. Indoor Air was sent to replace the condenser. Indoor Air stretched the job nearly 3 MONTHS while my home ran on heat strips ($$$!!!) 2015 ? High heat bills again. Same story with Indoor Air; they respond and disappears saying something about ordering a part. Another company is sent and after 3 visits finds the condenser was wired wrong (by Indoor Air) on installation resulting in freezing and running on heat strips again. I called today (nearly 3 weeks he was dispatched this time) and he starts to tell me he?s waiting on parts.. ?until I explained it was fixed by another company and I was calling to talk about my power bills resulting from his service. I have at least $800 in overages in electric from running on heat strips for 3 ½ months. The owner, Ray, tells me that he?s not responsible for any of it because ?I?m not his customer? since it?s through a warranty company. He complains the warranty company doesn?t pay enough and he just uses them to fill time to stay busy. Indoor Air seems to be an incompetent vendor and just doesn't care on top of it.
Description of Work: Indoor Air has been sent to my home over a heat pump for the last 3 years.

This is another home warranty. Many companies were sent back each time before they would call us back. Each time we got her going when we left and not sure what wiring of items were done after we left. I got a call from ms stating if I gave her 800 she would forget about this. Since she is not my customer and many companies had been out didn't know why she was demanding money and refused.
