My dishwasher flooded my kitchen in the evening. I sent a message to Charlie through Angie's List that night. In the early morning, I left a message with the scheduler. Within five minutes Charlie called me--he received the email and the phone message simultaneously. He came in the afternoon (early, even!). He spent an hour investigating the source of the problem. He found a hidden clog in a filter. He was able to remove the clog and fixed it. Charlie was professional, helpful and knowledgeable. I was very pleased with the Home Appliance and would/will use them again.

Mark , the technican called us the night before service date to let us know the time he would be out for our service call. The time was set for 8;30 am and Mark showed up at 8:30 the next morning...wow , not normal in Henrico County....We were very pleased. He was professional and dressed likewise to service our wine cooler. He replaced the thermostat and replaced the cooler under the counter and everything worked perfectly. My wife asked him to look at a hot water dispenser by the sink that was not dispensing hot water and he found out the relay switch had kicked off and there was no power to the unit....... no charge for the troubleshooting ! In this day and time it is difficult to get service in your home for appliances and our experience with Home Appliance exceeded my expectations and Mark is an asset to that Company..........Well Done Home Appliance !

Called to make appointment...was told technician would call back to set time for next day. He did so, but that evening while I was unavailable teaching a class. I text-ed him back at 11pm that night, and he figured out who it was and should up on time next day. Mark's work was excellent. Had the part on the truck. Good diagnosis to make sure oit was needed. Very professional and competent.

"Preferred technician" recommended by wine fridge manufacturer no longer services these units, so I had to search for my own. Home Appliance came to top of search on Angie's List based on high scores. They answered call promptly, came out to evaluate quickly, determined the problem and gave me options for repair/replacement. As it required removal, defrosting, and recharge, he had to call in another worker, remove the unit (due to weight and height), and take home to service. Although there was a slight delay in repair, he returned it quickly, operating well, and gave me a discount for having to wait. Mark is very friendly, professional, and neat. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful service! Chris was so professional and explained everything in detail. Was very impressed by his service and knowledge.

I called late on a Thursday and immediately spoke with Bob who took my information and stated that a technician would return my call within a few hours. Mark called shortly after I hung up, asked for the model number of the dishwasher and arranged to be at my home the following afternoon. When he arrived on Friday he quickly replaced the broken part and finished that job in a matter of minutes. Next he moved on to the refrigerator and corrected the door water dispenser problem. We now have water flowing after months of it not working at all. He also took down the model number to locate another broken part on the appliance. I am still waiting on that part. Before Mark left, I asked him to look at my clothes dryer. It often made a terrible screeching noise while running on high heat. He quickly saw that there was a blockage in the exhaust hose and corrected it. Wow, was I ever impressed. I previously used another local appliance repair man for years who was unable to solve that dryer problem, nor was as prompt as Mark with Home Appliance. Home Appliance is now my "Go-To" repair company for all my appliances.

He came out on time. He went right to work and solved the problem. He was very pleasant. The estimate cost of the work was accurate.

The job went well the maintience man was gone in 30 minutes.

Very prompt to respond to my request for service. Very prompt on showing up at time that was expected. Very clean and professional appearance of repair man. Quick to diagnose problem. Had required spare parts on truck, Time to make repair was just under an hour. Cost of service seemed very reasonable.

Cooking range burners were not lighting up properly. The flames seem to not be consistent. Chris came and figure out the problem; he cleaned the burners, adjusted the flame and provided tips/advice on how to clean it in the future. Chris is very professional. I would definitely call them again for any other appliance issues.

we called. Described our problem with the stove. they did research and after a reasonable time came to the house to repair. Charles the technician quickly found the problem and corrected. He was very, very courteous. In addition there was a 10% coupon which he graciously accepted.Overal a great experience

We were leaving our house for rent because we were going out of the country. I gave him a price range and to do the repairs within that. We asked him to call before he did anything. His price was good and he fixed it. Everyone was happy.

Great experience with totally professional workmanship by Mark and Greg. They were quick to diagnose the problem(s) and quick to respond. I think they realized that this was a week in which much Easter baking / cooking were going to take place and we were in a state of panic. Not to mention our dread that we might have to find and procure a new refrigerator. They charged only for the repairs (parts) which was an unanticipated surprise, especially in light of the fact that they had to make three trips out here. Would highly recommend and will certainly use again.

They were so quiet we hardly knew they were here. They cleaned up good. They left everything pristine for us. The price was reasonable. Our coupon from Angie’s List helped. It was all in all a good experience and I would recommend them to anyone else. In fact we will have them out again if we need any repairs like that again. The man that came out is named Charlie. He knew what he was doing. He was very professional. The dishwasher is working just fine now. The dishwasher is 9 years old.

They had come out prevously and found my condensor coils dirty. They vacuumed the coils and installed a new icemaker. When I called on 2/7/13 they scheduled me for the next day service. The only thing that they did was take the cover off the new icemaker. I guess this was done so I would not use the party switch that makes extra ice. Then told me that he would call me on Sunday evening to see if the icemaker was making ice. I thought about it and got really upset, if the icemaker was not making ice why would the icemaker suddenly make ice by Sunday? I called the manager and he came out 2/8/13 and found that my condensor was so hot that he couldn't touch it. Told me that he would buy another refrigerator since replacing the condensor can run approximately the same cost as getting a new one. I did get all of my money refunded even from when they replaced my icemaker and vacuumed the coils, everything.

This was my first experience with Angie's List and I was so pleased with the results. Home Appliance was so easy to work with and they did a great job. I realize that they may not always be available to respond on such short notice but I feel sure that they make every effort to come as quickly as they can. Their people are very professional and pleasant. All in all - a great experience!

Excellent, next day service

Outstanding communication throughout the process ... went above and beyond. Chris actually gave me tips on the phone to avoid the repair expense and if I would have listened to him, I would not have needed their service. Very professional!

Charle was very responsive from the first message left for him. I called him right at the holidays, so we had to work around holiday and family time, but we worked out a good day and time, but he arrived just when he sad he would. He diagnosed the problem within 3 minutes of his arrival, he had the part on his truck and the repair was completed within 30 minutes of his arrival. I could not have asked for a more professional, polite repair service. I will deifnitely use them again.

I chose Home Appliance based on the number of neighbors who have used them according to the mapping function here. I had an excellent experience, would use them again, and recommend them to others. Chris is highly competent, courteous, punctual, and explains things well including answering questions and advising on potential repairs that are worth the cost and those that are not. The price seemed very fair considering that the work required two visits. Chris thoughtfully called in the evening ahead of the second visit to confirm his arrival time the next day.

Came on time and worked was performed as promised.
