Description of Work: I called late in the day to request service on my gas oven. They were able to send a repairman out the next day. Chris Mcleod gave me a time window of 2 hrs. 8:00AM-10:00PM. He arrived a little before 9:00 AM and I was pleased that I didn't have to wait too long. My technician was Chris Mcleod and I found him to be very efficient, knowledgeable, respectful and left no mess behind. They had a sale on the service that reduced my cost by $50...a nice surprise! I'm completely satisfied with the experience. They are first on list should I ever need appliance repair again.

Description of Work: On Friday, July 27th of this year, Chris MacLeod with "Home Appliance" came to our home to diagnose & repair our washing machine. I had found Home Appliance on Angie's list, and they were clearly highly related. If I remember correctly, I called their office at 10:00pm +/- the previous Sunday night. I was amazed to find myself talking with someone immediately, and arrangements were made for my appointment, and a follow up call that week. Mr. MacLeod arrived on time, and was very professional and knowledgeable. The issue with our washer turned out to be simply the failure of the "lid switch", and he had it repaired in short order. My entire experience with Home Appliance has been extremely positive, and I will wholeheartedly (& proactively) reccommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Description of Work: Replaced water dispenser lever and checked the Ice Dispenser. He offered to check on the parts for the "ice crush" dispenser function but I never hear from him again nor did I follow-up. I can live w/o out crushed ice. I was charged a flat rate for his hour visit. My only disappointment was the cost for the new water dispenser part - it was $80. He was prompt and professional.

Description of Work: My dryer was not working properly. I called and make an appointment within 3 days of my call. The repair man was able to fix the problem in about 35 minutes. I recieved 10% off for Angie's List customer.

Description of Work: I called Home Appliance Service at 8PM on Thurs and got a call back 10 minutes later , a appointment was set for 2 PM the next day . Right on time Chris arrived and checked out our washing Mac. After inspection he stated the washer was approx 8 years old , and the repair would be approx $350.00 ( the cost for a new one would be around $400.00 and change). While at the house I had him check out a ice maker on the fridge that to was found to be about $250.00 to repair , Both prices where not what we had planed on spending so I explained to Chris we would not be doing the repair. He understood , and charged the $79.00 service call as agreed prior to him coming out . I was happy with the response, and his honesty on the cost to repair against the cost to replace , I will call them again if we need service , But for now I have a new washing Mac to go buy , Thanks for trying Chris I will keep your number and if need be call your company again

Description of Work: I contacted Home Appliance on a friday because our ice maker was not working. The technician called me right back and offered to come the next day. We were going to be out of town so I scheduled the appt for Monday. The tech told me he would arrive between 8:30 and 10:00a. He showed up at 9 and was done at 9:30. He was very courteous and explained everything. I didn't have my Angie's List coupon but he gave me the discount anyway. I would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Called for repair of icemaker. Anthony came on time was polite and careful in his work. The problem was not with the icemaker but with the water line. Need a plumber to repair.
