Arrived promptly, friendly service, explained what work was being done. Price was fair too. Much much less than cost of new refridgerator.

He helped us determine that the cost of necessary repair was not justifiable. Machine was 12 years old. Seemed very honest and informed.

It went very well. Charley kept us informed as work progressed. He fixed two problems, the door switch and timer. The dryer works fine now.

Took less than 15 minutes. Was a little pricey, but the washing machine works perfectly again and the technician that came out really knew what he was doing.

Technician added refrigerant, and the freezer is working again.

Ok - machine part is more than machine is worth.

Both times I called the company around mid-day and they had someone to the house within a couple of hours. Both times Chris was our tech and did a great job. He thoroughly explained what he was doing, what the costs would be and went beyond the service request to inspect the other components of the appliances to make sure everything was in working order. We had called them when we noticed a strange smell coming from our dryer, after inspecting the unit there was no obvious cause but after asking some questions and verifying with some other co-workers he determined the strange smell was due to a slight lingering smell from hardwood floors we have refinished last week, he assured us everything else checked out, I liked how he took the time to diagnose the situation and figure out what was going on. We really appreciated the work done and the costs seemed very reasonable especially given the prompt service. We will continue to use Home Appliance for all our needs going forward.

My washer was not spinning and draining due to a broken part on the lid - the "catch" when the lid closes that tells the machine to go thru the wash rinse spin cycles. This was broken. Charlie, my repairman, first checked the washer--determined what the problem was (about 5 mins). He then went to see if he had the part, and he did. He told me how much it would cost--part, service, etc--before he did any work. Charlie was in and out in about an hour--probably less. He was very professional and explained the problem clearly to me. He also stated that my particular issue--once corrected--would enable my washer to continue to work unimpeded for a long time to come. I will definitely refer my friends to Home Appliance.

They did very good. The price was expensive.

I would strongly recommend them and give them the highest rating because they are a great bunch. My washer had a bad spin switch or something and wasn't draining properly. He has a lot of experience and knew immediately what it was. He replaced the switch that was bad and made me a bypass that if it ever broke down again I could make it work. Great service. Very fast and reliable.

Tech never called back as promised. I called two more times to followup over the following several weeks. Again, promises to get part and call back were not kept. Clearly the tech - and the company - had no interest in dealing with the problem.

Chris took the bottom off of the dishwasher and water was standing under it. As stated, the machine needed a pump assembly. I chose to purchase a new dishwasher instead of repairing the 20+ year old one I had.

He immediately knew the reason the ice maker was not performing properly. After securing the make, model, etc., he checked his truck for the required part. Thankfully, he had it. He had to go outside to cut off the water supply to the house and turn it back on after he completed the part replacement. I was extremely pleased with his professionalism!

Mr. Bechtler repaired my dryer within a blink. He is so skilled that it did not take hom long to repair and clean my dryer. He is professional. in addition to fixing the dryer, he informed me my dryer was 95 percent clogged and recommended another professional to clean the vent system. Mr. Charlie is someone all others should strive to emulate.

Mr. Charlie Bechtler was prompt, friendly, professional, and honest about cost of replacement part. I was happy because, after three different symptoms that convinced me the dryer was dead ,I did not have to put out $800+ for a new dryer.

It was certainly reasonable compared to the other people I contacted when looking for pricing. He's always on time. If he's not on time, then he will call when he's running late from another job or something like that. He's always friendly because I've known him for 30 years. He's wonderful.

I thought I needed a new dryer because it had shut down completely one step at a time. First, the light was not on, then the drum continued to turn when I opened the door, and finally it stopped altogether. Occasionally, the appliance light would flicker if I hit the switch just right. That wasn?t going to dry my clothes. Mr. Bechtler knew from my telephone description what was wrong with the dryer, so he was ready with the solution. It took him very little time to replace the door switch, and the dryer was back to business. The cost was extremely reasonable for a part plus labor plus travel & diagnostic charge. I would definitely recommend Mr. Bechtler and Home Appliance to others.

They called us immediately and were able to come out within the hour. The staff was excellent and very friendly over the phone. I suspect everything will go very well with the service.

We purchased this home 11 months ago and our appliances were still covered on a home warranty provided by the sellers. After 3 trips from the warranty companys authroirzed repair service all we had to show for it was a scratched wood floor and a refrigerator that sounded like a jet engine each time the compressor fan came on! We left the warranty company and obviously did not renew their program and then fortunately found "Home Appliance Service" on Angie's list. What a find!. Mark, the technician came within 2 days of our call, quickly identified the problem and temporarily quieted the refrigerator by repairing the bent fan blade installed by the home warranty company's technician. Mark then offered to try and locate a blade replacement to save us the cost of having to replace the fan yet again. Ultimately we had him install a new compressor fan just to ensure a smooth running refrigerator. Home Appliance Service is a very professional, honest and competitively priced company that we will use again and highly recommend.
