+ 0 moreIt ended at the estimate stage. We wanted to proceed but could not get a return phone call--we left three messages over several weeks. We had been very impressed with them at the Richmond Home Show and then when they gave us the estimate. We were really disappointed that we couldn't finalize a contract. At one point, about two months later, the office mgr called to see if we were still interested, but by then we had decided to pursue another option.
Description of Work: Gator gave us an estimate of $2700 for refinishing kitchen cabinets, including 13 doors, 5 drawers and the cabinet frames. The 3-day process quoted involved removal of the doors & drawers to their shop for sanding, repair and a multi-stage process of lacquer and clear coating. Base cabinets are also fixed and painted, hardware installed and everything put back together.

+ -1 moreVery pleasant and personable during the estimate meeting and when working. Unfortunately, there were problems with the mudding of the seams of the sheetrock, which were visible even when painted. I called and they returned and redid the seams and sanded them a second time. Now, the seams and screw heads hardly show at all.
Description of Work: Hired to sheet rock the ceiling of a large basement room, and portions of the walls where a wall had been removed.
