Called them that morning. They responded as requested later in the day once I was home from work. He couldn't get to the leak from my kitchen, so went up on the roof and snaked it through the pipe vent. He was in and out in 10 min.

It was late Thursday night when I had trouble with backup in my shower. And I wasn't using the shower! Any time I used water in the bathroom...the toilet, the sink...it backed up in the shower. I used 2 bottles of liquid plumber. By morning it had gone down. So I started to run the water in the sink to get it hot so I could rinse the shower. Soon as I did, it started to back up in the shower again. I knew I was in trouble. And it was nasty! So, at that point I called John Flinn Rooter service. This was about 7:30 Friday morning. The answering service was extremely friendly and helpful. He arrived at my house just before 2:30 that afternoon. It took 3 hours of very hard work, tracking down just where the problem was. He found there were multiple clogs. He tried various ways to clear them but ended up having to pull two toilets to get at them. He worked so hard and so long, I wouldn't even take the 5% discount offered for finding him through Angie's List. That man truly earned every penny of his money. He cleaned any mess left from the work. I'd call him again in a minute...though I hope I don't have to.

Our house is 130 years old so it is harder to work on than some. I called Flinn's on a Saturday afternoon and they were on site within an hour. After looking at the problem, trying a few things to fix it, and deciding that a major portion of drain pipe was frozen solid, the problem was not resolved. I still rate the experience very well: they tried, they offered several suggestions to help deal with the mess until it can be resolved, and they offered a few alternatives to fixing it. The after hours service call is currently an additional 125 and I thought the overall charge was very fair. Prompt, helpful, fair. I would hire them again.

He attempted to clear sewer line but it obviously will require major repair work. Noah was a very nice individual...reliable, conscientious...gave us recommendations of reliable people to call for the major repair work required. Also responded to additional questions when we called after he completed his work and the bill was paid. Very helpful days after his work was done.

Overall I am very pleased with the service I received. From the prompt response to my phone call, to the scheduling, to Noah showing up on time, to the actual work, and to the clean up I was very pleased. Noah wasn't offended by my series of questions regarding the draining system and allowed me to do several tests to ease my mind that the problem was in fact fixed. After several years of hearing gurgling in my shower drain..it is quiet, as it should be. Thanks Noah!

I had a clogged sink drain that kept backing up into the disposal. I bought a snake and tried to fix it myself. After several attempts I needed to call a pro but was afraid it was going to cost me a bundle. I joined Angies list specifically to find a plumber I felt good about that would not overcharge me. It was a great decision. The clog must have been real bad because it took him a few tries to get it clear. He tested the work to make sure it was fixed. Very happy.

Flinn's Router Service was very punctual, clean, and professional in clearing the pipes down through the basement.

The rooter service was to my complete satisfaction. The technician was prompt and polite. Several days after the completion of the first drain service I called to have a set of collector drains from the building roof rooted as well. I was also very pleased with this service. Yes, I would use them again.

Overall my experience with Flinn's Rooter Server went great. The receptionist that answered the phone was very professional and helped me set up my appointment. Noah arrived exactly at 8:30am. He worked on my clog until it was fixed and offered me a 30 day guarantee.

We've been using John Flinn for almost 20 years and have never been disappointed by the punctuality, professionalism and service they've rendered. Our downstairs toilet started to overflow while the shower was being used on a Saturday morning, signalling time for another call to Flinn's. An appointment was scheduled for 1:00 and Noah showed up right on time. He spent an hour and got things moving along again. While the long-term prognosis is not good (the house is probably around 50 years old!) he did a great job. I was also pleased that there was no problem with getting a Saturday appointment. John Flinn was always great to work with and I'm pleased that now he's retired, Noah is keeping up the same high quality of service and professionalism.

Excellent. Very fast and punctual service. Upon arrival immediately investigated and diagnosed the problem. Proceeded right away to clear the sewer line. Presume price for service was reasonable, but had no other estimate or knowledge of going rate to compare. Honored Angie's List coupon.

1936 home with a stopped up tub drain. Called our usual plumber who was unavailable but recommended Flinn Rooter Service. They were able to fit us in on a Saturday. Noah showed up on time, and was professional and polite. He completed the work in less than an hour and left the bathroom spotless. Haven't used the tub yet, but barring any major problem (like damage) as a result of the service, I am giving Noah "straight A's" for his work.

We've been having a problem with slow drains in the tub and sink in the upstairs bathroom. After another generic drain cleaning company spent an hour working on the tub [& wouldn't touch the sink] and we couldn't see any improvement, we called a plumber for advice. The plumber came out for a free estimate regarding our problem. After checking the situation he strongly recommended a second opinion from another drain routing service and provided a number for one who had, in his opinion, a good reputation - John A. Flinn. Mr. Flinn and an assistant came [within a couple of hours of our call] and fixed both the bathtub drain problem [using a routing tool] and also replaced the trap under the sink. I was impressed by his timeliness and ability to repair what another service had unsuccessfully attempted. He worked quickly, was thorough, asked if there were other items to address while he was there [he also fixed the tub stopper, which wasn't working properly]; and cleaned up well before leaving. In the future, should we have other drain troubles, we'll call Mr. Flinn.
