Due to my own carelessness, I had backed my car out into my garage door while it was closed. I was afraid that the cement fiber siding was going to be difficult to repair & that there would be foundation damage & water penetration. After calling several contractors on Angie's List, I found Dave Bear Construction & Dave himself met me to review my situation. & while there was only minor damage to the garage door hardware, further inspection resulted in these repair being needed: 1) Push back vertical door frame to align with rest of garage structure. 2) Repair Hardi Plank siding that separated at joints to structure 3) Repair drip cap trim that had been pushed out of place. 3) Caulk & repaint to original specs. Never knew < 5mph going backward can cause so much damage! Fortunately Dave Bear was able to come out quickly & do the repairs. All within a 4 day period from the time of initial meeting to repair completion. Which by the way, repairs only 4 hours & that was because he had to go get paint & also let the caulk dry. When no other contractors wanted my small job, Dave Bear Construction stepped up & gave me a realistic price, solid work & honesty. He was neat in his work area & didn't lolligag on the job. There is nothing but my HIGHEST recommendation for this company. Please read my past reviews & see that I only recommend the best to get my house in top shape. Dave Bear is top notch!

David is a truly skilled contractor. I highly recommend him. He is professional, honest, and does the job to perfection.

David was meticulous, did a great job. He had to replace all moldings on 4 windows, and replace drywall and siding in two walls of a large surroom.

David was punctual, worked hard to get the job done, quickly, and efficiently. His price was good for the amount of work needed.I am very pleased with the results.

This man is just incredible. I can't say enough good things about. He can do almost anything. He is so honest and so good at what he does. He has helped me on two homes that I've owned over the past 15-18 years. I trust him implicitly - so much so that he has a key to my home. He is not a licensed home inspector, but did better than one that was licensed that I had used. I call David with anything I need to be done.
