I purchased a deal on AL for 3 hours of handyman services. I had to play phone tag a bit with JB, but once we connected he was very helpful and arranged for the work to be done within 2 weeks. The handyman that came out was very nice and completed all the work to my satisfaction. I did end up having to pay for 30 minutes additional b/c the jobs took a little longer than expected, but the rate was more than fair. I'm extremely happy with all of the work done!

This company's employees were courteous, did a good job at a steady pace. Communicated well with us and overall we are pleased.

I had them paint my mom's vacant home. We had them paint the 3 upstairs bedrooms, the hall, downstairs hall, dining room, and living room. They didn't do a good job. There were paint splotches on the hardwood floors. The paint brushes were washed out in the kitchen sink and clogged up the drain.

Ray arrived on time and completed all of the work without issue. I was very happy with the quality of work, professionalism and punctuality. I would definitely hire them again.

The service was good. We were able to move a big wall air conditioner. He covered up the hole and did the repair work. I was pleased and I thought it was well worth the price. He was very punctual and they came out right away to complete the job.

He was timely, very helpful, did a great job with fixing the grout under the shower door, unclogged my sink as an added bonus! He also showed me how I could clean out the catch in the future. I will definitely use them again for future jobs.

The service turned out fine. They showed up when they were supposed to. I had one thing that I did not like and so I called and left them a message. They responded quickly and sent someone to take care of it. I felt the price was a little high for what they did for me. It was one of those days in Virginia when the weather was bad so the gentlemen were an hour or so late. They said they called but I did not get a message.

I tried to follow up with him and he said he would get back with me and he never did. I think they are competent, they just must have had to much work. Because of the unresponsiveness, I will not be using them.

It went very well. Robert came the day and time that we were scheduled. He was very friendly and even let one of my dogs that had run away back in and yelled up to let me know that she was back. Robert went to fix three of our upstairs closet doors and finished in a couple of minutes. He told me that he just had to adjust the screw mechanism on the top to make them latch properly. I appreciated the honesty. I would highly recommend Robert!

I met with JB Sipe for consultation about enlarging a bath and he had some good suggestions/solutions. I then met with him about the kitchen and having plans drawn up for changes with doorways, moving a gas stove and adding cabinets/island. I was referred to his colleague Darryl to plans drawn up. Both JB and Darryl are very personable and knowledgeable, but I met with them seperately and don't think the communication between all of us was there. The plans were professionally done but excluded things the pertinent changes- which would require some construction work from JB before Darryl could install around them. I emailed JB first when the plans were slow in coming, and again when the plans were missing discussed changes. I was told he would contact Darryl the next day to have those changes reflected in modified drawings and send them on. I never received them, and I've moved on. The plans, however, were were worth the $$ and a good starting point for someone else.

The sub-contractor did a good job on the hole repairs. However, I hired his company to paint several rooms. The sub-contractors worked another job during the day and painted my house at night. It took several touch-ups requests get the project completed.

It ended up that the estimate was going to be double the amount that we paid for the deal. We ended up getting a refund on it because of a square footage issue. But they were very nice and professional.

The gentleman who was scheduled to do the work was running late, but he phoned and gave his apologies. He then showed up at the time he indicated he could make it and went to work. He was done within two hours and the results are great. Our tubs haven't looked that good since we moved in this house! We'll definitely use this company again.

They were unable to do the work at the price for the Big Deal as it was a larger job. Once this was determined we were able to get a refund. They were professional to communicate with. They were easy to work with and they were up front with what they could do for the coupon.

Once I purchased the deal, I was contacted right away and they ask for me to provide 3 dates that I could be available for them to come out and do the work. A date was agreed upon very quickly. The day before the contractor was due to come, I was called and informed that the contractor was ill and the work was delayed for just two days. I really appreciated the call the night before rather than the morning of the appointment. The contractor showed up right on time and ready to work. He worked steady all day and was very professional and friendly. The quality of the work was very good. This was my first experience with a contractor from Angies list and I was very pleased.
