It was great. Communication by email to set up the estimate and service wasn't great -- I had to keep emailing to get information on when they were coming and how to pay. However, the service was excellent; they did exactly what we wanted, cleaned up and were courteous.

Brian Carter, who came to my house for the estimate, was punctual and could answer any questions I had (which were many). The crew installing the system were on time, worked hard and answered all my inquiries. No one was a slacker. I had friends who used Carter Irrigation for the irrigation installation of their two homes and they have been nothing but pleased. I am in complete agreement with them. The written estimate was clear and self-explanatory where as another company, who also gave me an estimate, was so sketchy it said "installation of irrigation system".

The could improve communication. We ordered the system in October and missed the entire fall season to grow grass because they were just backlogged. They were very hard to get a hold of. They put it in, we ran it one week and then they came out and serviced it for the winter and shut it off. They did great work. They did a great job. It was one day. They didn't tear the yard up. It was just the communication. Once we got a hold of them and got them here, they were right on time.

This company is really great. They are professional and reasonably priced. I'm not sure how they did it, but it's barely noticeable where the pipes were put into the ground. I would most definitely recommend them.

I have been using their services for 18 years. You do have to call to set up each appointment. They know what they are doing.

Brian Carter was right on time to come by to evaluate my needs and offer his proposal. Before he left he gave me a hand-written quote, which he followed up in a day or two with a formal proposal. His men showed up as scheduled and completed the work with alacrity. My lawn, when they finished was restored to a point that when my wife came home from work and went out in the back yard looking for the sprinkler heads, she could only find one. Carter Irrigation Irrigation Services, Inc. has skilled employees and professional supervisory management. All of their work was performed with high quality and in a timely manner. The only hang up, no fault of theirs, was a delay in waiting for the County to install a water meter. I am satisfied with the finished water system installed. I highly recommend Carter Irrigation Services for installation and servicing of a water sprinkler system.

Everything went smooth and fast. Quote was delivered quickly and after a few calls to discuss what would be done we signed the agreement. Work started almost immediately. The system was installed quickly and efficiently. Missed one item which was a wireless rain gauge but that was quickly installed once the problem was found. My only concern was communication. we seemed to be running in different directions and sometimes I was waiting for a call. I will say they were prompt and when they said they would be onsite they were on time. I had this system installed late in the year and it was winterized after it was tested so we will see how it runs in the spring. I will try to update this review after it is back on-line in the spring.

We are very pleased with the irrigation system installed by Carter Irrigation. Brian was very courteous and professional throughout the entire process - from estimation through installation. He listened to our concerns about sprinkler head placement and made sure the backflow preventer was installed in an inconspicuous location. When we thought we had a problem with the controller (it was really "operator error"), he responded quickly and checked the system out to be sure it was functioning properly. He then patiently "re-educated" us on the system's functions and everything has been running/performing as advertised. We plan to have Carter Irrigation return in the Spring to expand the system to our back yard.

We have used Carter Irrigation for a number of years and always with excellent results. For this job, they showed up on time and ready to provide an estimate of the work to be performed as well as to complete the project immediately. They also provided an on-the-spot estimate for expanding our system in the future, which we had forgotten to request ahead of time. The crew are professionals and they completed the work on time and for the quoted price. Their office staff is also pleasant and efficient.

We had two estimates that were pretty similar. Carter did what we asked. They were very specific about what was going to be done, and broke it down with a price for each part of the job. Osbourne, the other company, just gave us a price with a two sentence description- it wasn't clear what we were paying for. When asked for more description, Osbourne did not respond. The only complaint I have, is when Carter finished the job, no one walked us through the system, With a new controller that would have been helpful.

Carter does the mowing for me weekly and they also do other things for me periodically. They fertilize my lawn, keep up on the landscaping and provide me with anything that I may need to help keep my grass healthy. I have never had any complaints with them at all. I am pleased and I will continue to use their services.

They were really confident in their prices and their quality of work in fact, while we were at their place of business, they were nice enough to show comparisons of their competition and some of them were cheaper. They insisted that no one was better than they were. Their quality of work was superb and after the completion, they said they would check on us in a week and they did.
