Great experience. I called them for an estimate for this small job. They schedule a visit for 2pm the next day. Raymond, a 10yr employee, showed up on time, was very personable, quoted a fair price and completed the job that same day. Raymond has some Spider-Man skills when it comes to walking up steep roofs! CL Wright seems like a good family owned business and I'd definitely recommend them for any job...small or large.

JoAnne, the office manager was in contact with me within hours of requesting an estimate. Within a few days, a rep came out to give an estimate. He was extremely courteous and professional. When the time came to have our roof installed, JoAnne contacted us with instructions and expectations of how the process would go. The installation went extremely smooth and even though the installers discovered extensive damage when removing our old roof/s, they worked extremely hard to finish the job while maintaining a high level of quality work. These guys work extremely hard and communication couldn't have been better throughout the entire process. At one point, the sun had set and I looked out the window and the guys were hand-picking debris out of the mulch with flashlights! Way above and beyond!!!!! All of the exclamations!!!!! A++++++++

Bad experience, made worse by the attitude of their office staff. The initial roofing seemed to go okay. They left quite a mess -- much more than our next door neighbors who had their roof replaced by a different company, but I could live with that. They also damaged several screens. Rather than telling us, we had to find them and call. They reimbursed us for the repair. Then we had a leak. After $42k for a roof, I didn't expect a leak. It took them 3 additional visits before they could fix it. Everyone was still pleasant, but why should we have a leak when we have a new roof? I'm just glad we didn't get our celings painted before it rained. I never expected a leak, much less 3 visits to find the source. Less than a year later, we noticed discoloration of some shingles. Interestingly, it was only on the back where it was hardest to see. Apparently they had a bad lot of product (which one of the workers acknowledged). We spoke with the manufacturer who agreed to replace it. CL Wright suggested that we just live with it, because they don't get compensated well on this sort of job. Seriously? After some convincing they scheduled the job for a Tuesday. Then Wednesday. Then Thursday. (BTW, no rain so I'm not sure why the delays). Finally they came on Friday. The roofing went okay, but they damaged the drywall under one of the new skylights. I sent them an email with a picture and they told me it was prior damage. When I explained that we just had the ceiling painted since we are selling our house, Jo Anne accused me of having an attitude. She also said that the picture showed "Sooooo much mold" when in fact there was none. I told her that I found her comments insulting and to please not respond, and she couldn't resist telling me that I was being rude. Overall, this was not a good experience -- made worse by the rude behavior and lack of customer focus by the office manager. They were a little cheaper than the competition, but if I had it to do all over again I would definitely spend some additional money to avoid them.

A very professional job, staff, and crew. We were impressed with the amount of contact/info (Charles and JoAnne) before the start date, the punctuality of the crew, the supervision and continued contact during the job (Raymond), and the quality of the work (Angel was onsite foreman)...pros all the way. The crew was hardworking from early morning til dark. They did a great job on the roof and in cleaning up! All paperwork was handled professionally and expediently. It was obvious that this business and their crew knows what they are doing and that our satisfaction with their work was important all the way. Super job.

I think I may have been a victim of this company's success and excellent ratings on Angie's List. The work itself took less than an hour and I believe it was well-done. However, it took a month just to get an estimate. There had been a bit of minor leaking under both existing skylights, and Mr. Wright told me that both were cracked when he gave me the estimate to replace them. This got me worried, especially when I had to wait another month to get the new skylights installed. Fortunately, the old skylights held up, even though we had a lot of rain during that time. If not for the 2 months from start to finish for what should have been a quick project, I'm satisfied with C.L. Wright and have recommended them with the caution to allow a lot of lead time.

Whenever I contacted them via email or phone, they were prompt to respond. They are quite busy, so I had to wait for a month to get the repair, but I guess that speaks to the job that they do since they have so many customers. They emailed me right before the job to give me instructions I would need for the day(s) of the roof installation. They were there when they said they would be there, and did a walk through inspection when it was completed. I did later find one downspout that was improperly put back up, and called the supervisor of the job. The next day, he came out and fixed it with no questions. I would use this company again. They did everything they said they were going to do and in the time frame that was explained. The one thing to remember is that the price ended up being a little higher because once they get in there, they find rotten boards etc. So I did have to pay more than the estimate, but I also saw the rotten wood that they pulled off and repaired, so I trusted that the repair was needed. So just keep that in mind, that you may have some stuff going on under there that they can't see until they get in there!

Outstanding. They did a spectacular job for a reasonable price, and at the time they promised. I use them again and recommend them to anyone with confidence.
