Damage occurred during storm on 6/29. We found hole on Sat (July 7), left message on 7/8, they returned call 7/9, came out covered hole & gave estimate 7/10. We called insurance company, decided to pay ourselves. They came and did complete repairs July 30. Have used them before will use them again. VERY friendly, VERY professional, VERY thorough!

I contacted Wright's in Nov. of '11 for an estimate and decided to use their services. Mr. Wright told me they would be able to do our roof around the first of February. (The Richmond area had experienced a severe tropical storm that damaged a lot of roofs and this company was very busy.) However, Mr. Wright said he would send someone out to repair our skylight immediately since it was only covered by a tarp. Sure enough, the work was done the very next day. On the first of February, the roofing materials were delivered to my home and work began the next day. Communication was excellent. The workers were professional, all promises kept, and everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful. The roof looks great! Love this company!

Excellent! Owner, Charles Wright, gave estimate, discussed pros / cons of various solutions, noted who would perform the work and sent estimate within a week. Price was moderate, fair.Scheduled for job a few weeks later for my convenience. Work performed in one day. "Keith" was an excellent carpenter. He worked quickly, efficiently and was very thorough in identifying unexpected problems and addressing them. Quality of repairs is excellent.. Never had a better experience with a project.

This was the second time we had used this contractor. He was very knowledgable about his product and this helped me in deciding what type of product to purchase. They were punctual and quick completing the job.

We were selling our house and needed a roofer to repair a couple of places where the flashing had pulled away from the roof and the bathroom vent boots needed to be replaced. I sent C.L Wright Roofing Inc. and email since they had previously performed work for me on a different house. They responded immediately, provided an estimate, told me when they could perform the work, did the work on that date, and they performed excellent work. I will definitely use them again in the future.

C.L. Wright was very responsive when we requested a quote. They gave us what we felt was a very fair quote and performed the work when they said that they would. They did a thorough job of cleaning up. When we noticed a slight problem with one of the gutters after the work had been completed, they came out promptly and fixed it. Overall, they did an excellent job and we would highly recommend them.

Came by on afternoon of 6/7 & started job & returned next morning to complete, just as they said.

We were DIY'ers most of our early lives, but my husband will be 65 next month, and I just did not want him on our two-story roof. My daughter found a great roofer in VA Beach for her house through Angies List, so I joined and found C.L. Roofing. They came out, understood exactly what I wanted done, and improved on the idea, gave me a very fair price and did the work. We had just had a very strong storm the day before our roof was to be repaired. The owner, JoAnne called to let me know they were running about 4 hours behind due to the storm. They came and in about 2 hours, all repairs were done and the fan installed. The next day the electrician called and made an appointment to hook up the fan and he came right on time. Our experience with C.L. Roofing has been great!

We were very pleased with the entire job. Wright's crew showed up exactly when they were expected, and went right to work. A member of management (the owner's brother) came along with the crew at the start, and either returned himself or sent another supervisor at regular intervals to check on progress. He also gave us his cell number so we could contact him if any problems arose (which did not happen). The workers were all friendly, professional and diligent, and they stayed each day as long as it took to get the job in shape to be left overnight. The finished product was not inexpensive, but the quality and workmanship is consistently high and we feel that we got what we paid for, or more. We would definitely use C. L. Wright again, and we have no reservations in recommending them to others.

We chose them because we preferred their materials that they used. They were decently priced, professional, and did the job well. They cleaned up after themselves and were very polite.

C.L. Wright was very thorough, and the most knowledgeable of roofing contractors we contacted. He was able to come out to our home fairly quickly to provide an estimate. Based on the experience level and jobs that were considered "A" by Angie's List, we felt the price was fair as well. Charles gave us an estimate, noting that one particular area was an "unknown" and we were concerned about being overcharged or the price going way up as the job was being completed. Fairly, he provided us with a cap, saying "if there were unknowns, the price would not exceed $---." I was very impressed that he offered that to us. We are first time roof-changers and weren't sure how many unknowns we would face. The weather delayed our roof replacement by just a couple of days and JoAnn was extremely responsive by email (which we liked) to let us know when the team would be out there. When they did come out, they were able to complete the job quickly in two days, and the roof looks great. It has also added insulation value to our home. We live very close to the interstate, and are able to hear it much less due to a job well done. My only problem with this company is that as I was weeding my front beds the other day, I noticed that they did a fair job of cleanup. There were nails everywhere within the beds and near our garage (not good for our cars, obviously) and we even found a 4'-0" section of metal flashing, the workers' candy wrappers (gummy worms) and a large metal roofing tool. It looks sort of like a ice pik. It was huge and left behind our bushes. Overall, the clean up was just not done well and there were too many scraps of roofing and asphalt. I felt they could have done a better job of that.

They did excellent work. The dates/times may not be exactly as planned.

Owner demonstrated products, advantages and functioning. Provided estimate. Installation was professional and responded to homeowners questions and minor installation change requests at no additional cost.

Based on good Angie's List reviews I had C.L. Wright and 2 other companies come out and give estimates. All arrived on time for the appointment, took detailed measurements and the estimates were provided quickly. They were unbelievably close in price and quality of materials. Charles Wright measured and drew up our estimate from C.L. Wright. I chose CL Wright over the others because I could tell they were focused mainly on roofing and gutters from the detail put into the estimate and talking to Mr. Wright. I also liked their gutters better than the competition. One company did not do gutters but referred me to gutter installer and the third company seemed to do more siding/ window work and roofing did not appear to be their main focus. CL Wright only does roofing (and roofing related work) and gutters.The roof work was planned for one week in May and the gutters ~2 weeks later. I received a phone call from Jo Ann Wright several days in advance of the roof work as a reminder. The materials arrived early the morning of, and the roofing crew on time. There was a high chance of heavy rain that day and after much consideration the job was delayed until the next day. The crew arrived at 7:00 AM the next morning and began removing the 2 layers of old roof. They worked steadily throughout the day, were cleaned up and gone by 6:00 PM. Roofing job complete. They replaced 5 sheets of plywood that were bad from backed up gutters and such over the 24 year + life of my old roof. My yard, driveway, and mulch beds were cleaner after the roofing work than before. They did a super cleanup job.On my inspection there was some slightly buckled (wavy) flashing where a short roof attached to a side wall and the job supervisor came out and corrected this the next day. My only regret was not accepting their offer to put plastic in my attic to catch any debris from cutting in the ridge vent and replacing plywood. After discussion with the job supervisor and a look at the state of "stuff" stored in my attic, I decided the debris would be minimal and declined the plastic. Well, lets just say that I recommend for those adding a ridge vent (or any other breach of the roof) to accept the plastic. The roof looks great and has endured one fairly heavy rain with no leaks. The seamless gutters were installed this week by a different crew (actually one man) and we have not had a good rain to test them since, but I am impressed with their appearance, quality and workmanship.All in all, I was very pleased with the entire experience and would recommend C.L. Wright for any roofing and gutter work.

Keith ( technician) was on time. He was very polite and personable. He explained clearly what he did to fix our problems and kept me apprised of his progress as he worked overall, a pleasure to work with.

Could not have gone any better- Crew worked non stop for 12 hours. Supervisor Jacob- knowledgeable & friendly - were here when promised- very pleased.

A very pleasant experience, from the time we got an estimate right on through to the work being completed. We were assigned a crew supervisor, and an onsite foreman. Both were very pleasant and professional. The crew was on time both days, worked until dark on the first day, and returned at 7am on day two. Completed our re-roofing project in 2 days, rather than a projected 2 1/2 days. They were very careful not to damage the house and/or shrubs around the house, using tarps to cover each side as they worked to remove the old roof. As with any roofing job, there was a great deal of mess generated as they removed the old roof. They were very thorough in cleaning up and making sure nails and staples were picked up in and around every area of the house. A very well done clean up! Highly recommend this firm to anyone looking for a quality re-roofing job.

They were quick. What I liked is they answered every question as they were working. Didn't mind me checking everything out. They do clean up after, but I would suggest that anyone getting there roof done clean up the leaves first. I didn't think about that. A few nails were missed that found my tires, but that is to be expected I quess. They did a great job and I would suggest them to anyone

Once again, C.L.Wright Roofing came to our rescue. We used them before, when they discovered the true source of a ceiling leak that others had missed. This time, we had a shingle fall from the hip over our bay window. Mrs. Wright got us scheduled and Buster fixed the problem quickly. We will recommend C.L. Wright any chance we get. Professional, quick response. They know their business.We are so grateful to have found a company that is serious about quality work.

I contacted C.L. Wright about replacing my 5 skylights which were clear glass and causing temperature changes in my rooms. Charles came out (on time!) and did a full roof inspection. He said he could replace my existing skylights with low-e glass that would prevent heat and cold passing thru, and also took pictures of problem areas on my roof that needed repair. He said I needed a roof "tune-up" and that my gutters were quite full and recommended gutter guards. We scheduled a time and Keith from C.L. Wright came and performed the work (on time again!) There were a lot of issues with the flashing, some even missing altogether around the bathroom skylight. Apparently when Nathan's installed the existing roof in 2003 they re-used the OLD flashing, which was now out of shape and popping loose. Nathan's had also put in the expensive (I have the receipt from the prior owner) but poor quality skylights that had NO insulation in the frame, and were clear glass. So air was coming in around the glass in the winter making the house cold, and the sunlight was beating down in the summer making the house hot. I am thrilled with my new skylights and gutter guards!! I feel so much better that all the problems they uncovered from the prior roofer have now been resolved by a company I can trust to do things right. I highly recommend C.L. Wright.

Charles Wright came to my house to give me an estimate on a new roof. From my first meeting with him, I was very impressed. He had an excellent presentation and took plenty of time to go over his proposal. I had obtained several other estimates from other companies prior to this, but the proposal from C.L. Wright was definitely the most impressive. Charles was very gracious and answered all my questions. I was not there when the work was actually being done, but I can say that I'm very pleased with the finished product. The new roof looks great and the crew cleaned up very well after they were finished. The company was in touch with me before the work started and checked back in after everything was completed. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The estimate from C.L. Wright was the most expensive estimate I got, but the quality of work and materials was excellent and definitely well worth the price. I would most definitely use their services again and would recommend them to anyone.

The company performed admirably in every aspect of the job.

It went very well. We had some severe gutter issues, including som unusual drainage due to prior home alterations. C. L. Wright gave us the lowest estimate of any bidders. They did the work prior to the estimated date. The work was done professionally. The people were great to work with. Today we had the first major rain since the work was completed, and evrething worked great! Wedon't have to worry about our gutter issues anymore.

The installation went very well. In fact, this was as good as any experience I've had with a "large ticket" contractor project for this home. I was impressed with the knowledge and skill level of the install crew. This was evidenced by a clever solution that was provided for a challenging problem with my roof. I was particularly impressed that Christobal, the roofing crew chief, in addressing two issuesI had raised raised, told me he would stay (with three others in the crew) "all day, if necessary" to make me happy. Mr. Wright and partner, Mrs. Wright, were very helpful and professional. Also, Mr. Rhodes was excellent as the overall project manager, and Keith Wright did a tremendous job in doing the final structural and trim touch-ups that were needed.
