This was the best experience I have EVER had since moving to Richmond 10 years ago. No lies, no delays, fair prices, great communications, and good work! My neighbors are also happy with the complete gutter replacement that C.L. Wright did for them

Received an estimate for the work, which was reasonable. The work was scheduled and completed as planned. Keith did an excellent job on the repair.

Charles and JoAnne were a pleasure to work with. as part of my attempts to sell my home, i needed to make some roofing repairs. Charles and JoAnne were awesome. they were very responsive and when the workers came out to do the work they were great. They made sure I understood what was going to happen and wanted to be sure that i didnt have any questions. Once the work was done, they cleaned up so well that had I not been home, i would not have known they were there. I would surely recommend them to anyone in need of roofing services.

Used Angies List to identify companies to quote gutter repairs. I called CL Wright Roofing to get a quote. They told me it is usually $6 per foot for gutters and $7 for the bends. I told the receptionist that the job was only the front of the house and could I get an idea of what would be a good day to come out for a quote. She said she had to ask Mary (not sure if that was the right name). When she came back on the phone she said May was busy and they wouldnt be able to get to it until late January. After I call 5 others on the list they all said they could have the job done within 2 week (the others all ranked high A's on Angies list). It was obvious that the size of the job was not consequential to them. Little did they know we have about $20,000 dollars budgeted for other work that they also provide but we wont use them for ANYTHING now. Dont be greedy!!!

I would not recommend them to anyone. He threatened me with a lawsuit if I did not write a check for the entire amount before he left. The roof is on right, but they threw the shingles on the roof with enough force to crack the ceiling in my utility room on the back of my house. They also cracked the fascia board in half. The man swore that none of these were caused by his work. I wanted for him to fix the damage before I wrote him a check. He did finally admitted that he would fix the problems. I felt that the man had a disagreeable personality. It was a terrible experience.

Mr. Wright arrived on time for estimate. We negotiated final contract. His crew arrived on date agreed to do the work and they finished on time.

I'm so happy with the new roof that C.L. Wright Roofing, Inc. completed on 10/22/12. Everything went as planned. The crew arrived at my home right on time, set up, and got to work. I have never had to replace a roof before, so I had no idea what to expect beyond hearing hammers, saws, etc. The crew was very friendly, polite and respectful of my property. They covered the sides of my home with tarps to keep debris from falling on the house, windows, shrubs, outdoor compressor, etc. They actually had to tear off two layers of roofing on my home, replace some plywood, then paper and shingle. They also cleaned my gutters and reconnected the gutter guards. And they did all of this in one day. When the team finished their work at around 3:45 p.m., I met with the project supervisor (who'd been back and forth at the job site all day making sure everything was okay) for a final inspection of the new roof and all around my house. I gotta say, the roof looks fantastic. The flashing was done right and well (a real sticky point for me) and everything is now up to (or better than) code on my old house. I expected a great roofing job from courteous professionals...and that's just what I got. However, I wasn't expecting them to go beyond my expectations and completely clean my yard. Honestly, the team left everything looking better than when they arrived. I thank them for a great end product, a fair price and excellent service. I'd definitely hire C.L. Wright Roofing, Inc. again if I needed them.

All of the folks I dealt with (Mr. and Mrs. Wright, and the man who actually put the gutters on) were friendly and professional. The work seems to have been done exactly as Mr. Wright and I discussed at the original estimate. There were a few weeks between the estimate and the first available appointment but that is understandable. Mr. Wright generously fixed a pop-up board on my roof when he came to give the estimate, just as a courtesy. They sent a thank-you card after the work was performed, which was a nice touch as well. Overall I am very pleased and do recommend this company.

C L Wright is the consummate professional. This also includes his entire staff. Having been a successful sales rep for thirty years qualifies me to make this statement. The crew showed up on time finished the job in two days. The cleanup was flawless. Every one was friendly and accomodating. They did much more than I expected and I feel I got more than what I paid them. There's nothing left to say.

C.L came to look at situation. Gave estimate $1500. below other companies. I agreed, date set, they came and installed skylight.

Charles was on time did excellent work and cleaned up the job site perfectly.

The crew arrived on time @ 8:30 AM & foreman answered my questions while the crew prepared for work - Very professional - When job was complete, my yard & deck were clean - No trash left any place.

Good job had a little request and CL took care of it quickly.

CL Wright Roofing was the second company that came out to give us an estimate to repair the leaking skylight on our roof, and was hands down the most unpleasant. My wife was at home when Charles arrived (on time). He went up to the roof and performed an inspection, and then told my wife what it would cost to repair the leaking skylight ($350). He said that it would need to be reflashed, and that the skylight was in bad condition and should be replaced, an additional $225 cost. This was not what we had been previously told by other companies that we had out to look at the leaking skylight. They all agreed that it needed to be reflashed, but the other companies said that the skylight itself was in very good condition. I called to talk with Charles on the phone about the work, and over the phone he quoted me a different price to repair the flashing ($325). He was difficult to talk to, being very condescending about the work that needed to be done, and saying, multiple times, that the skylight was in bad repair and that they couldn't guarantee that they could get it out of the roof without breaking it. I said I understood that if it broke we would have to replace it, but that if it didn't why did he recommend replacing it when no other company recommended that. He wouldn't answer that question, but just kept repeating that if it broke when they took it out, that we would have to replace it. He further said that if they put it back in, and it still leaked, that it was a broken skylight at fault, not their job (preemptively I might add), and that then it would cost the replacement of the skylight plus the flashing fix. I asked why the skylight would be broken when they put it back in, and he went back to the point about it breaking when they pulled it out. After going around and around on the phone where he would interrupt me while I was trying to clarify what he was saying, I reached a point where I said that I believed we had gone as far as we could on that phone call. Before I had finished he said "Good-bye" and hung up on me. My wife was not given a good impression of Charles when he came out, and neither was I over the phone. Based on our communications and impressions of them, I cannot recommend using them for work on your skylights. This does not say that the quality of their work isn't good, we didn't hire them entirely due to their rude customer communication skills, not price.

The crew, worked hard in very hot weather. Everyone, was timely, cleaned up very well and took pains with lots of shrubbery.

Entire job went smoothly. Schedule with office for estimate. Received estimate timely by email and confirmed acceptance by same. Job scheduled and we were kept informed at each stage. On day of job, gutter's were cleaned but installer found wrong size gutter guards had been ordered. Installer kept us informed of what had happened and office ordered the correct size guards and rescheduled installation. Quality of guards and workmanship to install were very good. I would recommend the guards and the use of CL Wright Roofing for future jobs.

No problems. They arrived as promised and completed the work to my satisfaction.

Charles, made the initial appointment exactly on time. He was straight forward and efficient. JoAnne, was a pleasure to deal with in terms of scheduling and handling my questions. Work crew, did a fantastic job, worked hard in the July heat, cleaned up the work site each night, arrived early and worked till sundown.

We did get several estimates on installing gutters on the carport we built, however our experience with Charles and Jo Ann made the decision easy. They are both wonderful to work with. From the initial contact to talk about the project to finishing the work, they are all that I could ask for in a contractor and more. This is now the 4th time I have contracted C.L. Wright to do work for me. The first 3 times were for roof replacement, repairing roof damage from Irene last year and to do the roof on the new carport. We had them install the heavy duty seamless gutter system. I have always been more than happy with the expert work they do, the fair pricing, and with the prompt and courteous way they handle their business. I will gladly refer them to anyone needing excellent gutter or roofing work done

They were on time, reasonably priced, job complete in a very professional manner. We also had them put on new roof a year ago. We were very pleased with the job and would call them again should we need this type of work!

Excellent service. Were not pushy about their recommendations, but we decided to go ahead and take their advice to repair our second skylight and additional flashing around our chimney since they said it might become a problem in the future.

I think things overall went very well. No problems, although we had to call them back later to repair a small leak in the roof and they did a great job. I am very glad I used them.

The service was excellent. They came on the day as promised and the cost was as we had agreed. There was a minor issue that needed to be remedied and they fixed it without arguments or complaints.
