Description of Work: Mr. Burgwin & his helper removed our old broken garbage disposal, then provided and installed a new Insinkerator Pro750. We've used Mr. Burgwin in the past for several projects and he's always been punctual, professional and perfect. This project was no different. On his own, he rerouted the drain and power line a little bit so they were more out of the way. They cleaned everything up afterwords and it's another job well done. (Could I have done this installation myself? Sure, as long as there were no problems, and I wouldn't have done as good a job, and it would have taken me at least twice as long, even if it went perfectly. Professional plumbers make it look easy).

Description of Work: Lee Burgwin called back within a couple hours of my leaving a message. Later that day we set up an appointment for 2 days later. Problem was a leaking kitchen drain which was through an outside wall behind kitchen cabinets in a narrow crawlspace. He offered 2 options: 1) to cut a hole either in the inner cabinet or outside wall (siding) and replace the old plumbing using the vent. 2) Bypass the vent and use an air admittance valve under the sink to install a new drain through the floor of the cabinet. I chose the 2nd option, which was $250 cheaper than replacing the old plumbing. His helper also capped the roof vent for me until it can be eliminated with the next roofing job. Excellent, efficient, neat, clean, professional work. Price was as estimated. Job completed in 3.5 hours. He has 30 yrs. plumbing experience and it shows. I would call him for future plumbing needs.

Description of Work: Mr. Burgwyn and his assistant re- installed ktichen drains, plumbing, garbage disposal, and water and drain connections to the dishwasher. When the counter was installed, we changed our minds about the placement of the faucet, and he came back on very short notice and changed some pipes at very little additional cost. He also installed an additional outside faucet. He did an excellent job without compromise.

Description of Work: The fittings around the hoses for my washing machine were leaking. The leak was actually going down behind the drywall in my utility room. I called and someone came out in about 1/2 hour. The repairman was prompt and professional. He then told me in order to fix it would have to cut a small hole in the drywall. I asssured him that was no problem since the washing machine would cover any hole. After he cut the hole, he asked me to come and look at the pipes. He then told me that the kind of pipes that whoever installed the plumbing used have since been outlawed due to the fact that they fail over time. I thanked him for letting me know and have since looked into getting them replaced. He did the job quickly and cleaned up the mess from cutting the hole.

Description of Work: Mr. Burgwin and his helper arrived promptly and replaced valves for washing machine hook up. He explained how the repair was to be made before completing it. He had to cut the drywall to get at the pipes but only cut a small opening - I assured him I understood it had to be done and no one can see it with the washer in place. The new valves work fine and he warranted the repair for 2 years. Since my house is 18 years old - I think that is fair.

He has re-plumbed a bathroom to accommodate two sinks and he has repaired a faulty thermostat on a water heater. The biggest job he has performed for us was repairing a leak in our main water line.
