Arrived on time, detail-oriented and kept the work-area clean. Didn't know how to fix the low voltage switch that turns the gas logs on....thought cleaning it would suffice; It didn't. Overall, he did an acceptable job and had everything been working properly with the fireplace I'd probably rate this provider a bit higher, but his inabililty to diagnose/fix our switch problem lowered the grade.

He was very responsive and quick. He was very nice. I thought he was real overpriced for what he did. He was here for only a little bit.

He showed up on time, got right to work, and did a great job overall. Fireplace looked and worked great and the work area was spotless when he finished. Would definitely call them again.

I got a very quick call-back and he was able to come out the same day. He and his helper were very polite, put on shoe covers to protect the floors and told me everything that was being done. He was very efficient and friendly and didn't waste any time getting the work done in a timely fashion. Plus he gave me some tips to avoid trouble in the future. He was great to work with and I would be happy to have him back if needed.

Mr. Burgwin did an outstanding job running gas lines, installing gas logs (which we purchased from him at a very good price) and hooked up our gas stove, filed for permits and arranged for inspections. Very respectful of our property and everything was left neat and clean. We will use Mr. Burgwin again if the need arises.

Lee and team were great, very helpful and straightforward in dealing with our issues. Did all the work on both the water heater and the gas logs (which I asked them to do on the side, but they were able to do it on the same trip), and kept everything neat and clean. I wouldn't hesitate at all to get them to come back for any plumbing needs.

He was punctual, responsive, and professional. I am satisfied with the quality of work that was done on this visit. I thought the price was a little high.

Excellent. Came the same day I called. Cleaned fireplace area as well as checking assembly. Starter was not functioning and we have not lived in the house long so had no history with the maintenance of the fireplace. Explained the system. Cleaned up nicely. Quick and efficient yet thorough.

Fireplace and logs are now usable and safe. Work area was carefully covered and clean up was good.

Lee was at the house the same day I called asking for an estimate. He examined our existing system, explained the work and two-step inspection process by the county, and provided a detailed written estimate. We decided to have him do the work and arranged a start date. He filed the permit with the county (permit cost included in his fee), did the rough-in work, arranged the first county inspection, did the stove installation, and arranged the final county inspection. He even recommended an electrician when we ran into an unexpected electrical problem because of our existing 25 year old electrical service not being compatible with the requirements of the new stove. Overall, he was extremely competent, professional, and punctual. That led me to talking to him about rplacing our hot water heater.

I am very pleased with Burgwin. He and his assistant were punctual, clean, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I just bought a 17 year old house with a gas fireplace that likely had never been serviced. It was filthy and the logs would not stay lit. The back of the fireplace was rusted as well. They thoroughly cleaned and painted the fireplace (1 3/4 hour process) and managed to actually keep the rest of the room clean in the process! They also inspected under the house, informed me about the hose bibbs i have and how to maintain them and the fireplace. I intend to use them in the future for other projects and maintenance.

He is good. The job was excellent. He had another trainee employee with him. When Mr. Burgwin finished repairing the toilet, he had his trainee employee clean the whole toilet for me. Most of the people don't bother doing that. That impressed me. What had to be cleaned is the gas kit inside the toilet. It has to be cleaned as it starts to degrade overtime. When it starts to degrade and when you touch it, you get this black stuff all over the hand. I had splashed it outside of the tank when I tried to repair it. I have used him twice and would use him again in the future.

Six days with no power and appliances full of spoiled food in the wake of Hurricane Irene moved my husband to announce our need for a whole-house generator. I left voicemail for Lee Burgwin after having my calendar disrespected by a different service provider. Lee returned my call shortly thereafter and we set a time for his visit. When Lee arrived, he looked over the job site, answered my questions and took time to help me locate equipment plates on the hot water heater and the furnace for information required by the gas company relative to a gas meter upgrade. Lee provided me with a very reasonable quote before he left . I called him several days later to say we had ordered the generator and asked for a place on his schedule. Lee and Logan showed up on the promised day at the promised time and, despite fits of rain, began to rough-in the installation that the local inspector would want to see. Lee also took our gas fireplace apart and serviced it and made it look (and function) like new ! After the inspector approved the rough-in, Lee and Logan returned to finish the installation. The piping is painted silver, the plumbing is tidy and well-managed, and everything looks very attractive! Lee called for final inspection and the plumbing (not surprisingly) has been blessed by the county inspectors. Not that we’re looking forward to future power outages but we now feel better prepared for them! I am beyond pleased with Burgwin Plumbing – they are very very credible, talented human beings capable of delivering a very nice product that looks like they care a great deal about the work they do. We have our speed-dial plumber and couldn’t be happier !

The work turned out excellent. The quality of the work is good. They come when they say they would come. They don't make you wait. They are very reasonable. I would use them in the future.

Their timeliness and the cleanliness of the job stand out to me.

He always was very responsive and stands behind his work. I downgraded the quality slightly because he needed to come back several times to make it right. For the amount of work done the price was more than fair.

He was very prompt and came the same day that we called. He did a good job and was very polite.

Mr Burgwin called me within an hour of when I left a message for him yesterday and set up the appt for today. He called early and asked if I was available for him to come out early and arrived at the time he said. He looked at 2 other problems I was having when he got here and gave me an estimate for that work as it was going to take some time and he did not have time to complete it today. I had gotten another bid on this work from another plumber and it was very high BUT Mr. Burgwins his bid was very reasonable. He did perform the work I had scheduled while he was here. He did it in an efficient manner and timely manner. He warrants his parts for 2 years. I plan to use him for my other work I was so impressed.

He's awesome! Everything was so clean during the job. I was very comfortable having him around because he was so honest. He didn't try any sneaky sales tactics to make me buy anything I didn't need. The quality of work was excellent. I would definitely recommend him..

They did a good job and I will continue to use them in future.

Lee installed a new garbage disposal to replace my old one that was no longer functioning properly. I purchased a new Kitchen Aid disposal myself because he couldn't buy that brand himself. Then I contracted with him to install it. He did the job in a timely manner...soon after my phone call...and did an expert job. I would definitely use him again!

As stated above I needed a sink installed and a new gas line. Not only did Mr Burgwin give me a very fair estimate for the work to be performed, he was on time, professional and took extra time to answer any questions I had. He was thorough in his examination of the work that needed to be done so there were no surprises at the end. He did a great job. I am very happy with his work, I would use him again and recommend him to my friends.

Called on a Tuesday afternoon, they called back that afternoon and set up a tentative date for Wednesday afternoon with a price of $125 each installed for a total of $250. I advised to give me a call 30 minutes prior. They actually called 50 minutes prior, which was good as I had a stop to make. I arrived home 5 minutes prior to estimated time, before I had the door unlocked van pulled up. Described and showed what I wanted, and even asked if they could put in shutoff valves as I didn't think I had any at the spigots. Was advised that was $25 more each, no problem. Work took about an hour and a half with no problems. They even secured the new spigots into the concrete walls (the previous weren't) and clear RTV caulked them. Upon payment only charged $250, got the shutoff valves as a gimme :) I used to do some plumbing, so I know what a pain crawlspaces are, and the heat today was ridiculous. Based on the heat alone, I would maybe have charged a bit extra, but instead got a discount :) I've found my new plumbing company...

Both of my outdoor faucets were spraying water everywhere whenever the garden hose was attached. Mr. Burgwin and another employee were prompt and courteous. They worked quickly and efficiently replacing the two water spigots. I am very pleased with their work and will use them again for future plumbing issues.
