It went extremely well. Professionally done by two people who new what they were doing. Turned out the Bradford Pear tree must be trimmed in a certain fashion that these people knew and it turned out very good. Very pleased with services performed.

Very well, we really like Mary Ellen the tree inspector that came to our house. We will continue to use Arborscapes for our tree needs. The trees get sprayed multiple times a year and they also can treat trees to help them become healthier.

They're also good at giving advice on the bushes and trees if you have insect damage or that kind of thing.

The price was better than another provider by a little bit. I would use them again in the future.

As before, he is very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and reliable.........a pleasure to work with. His team were prompt, careful, considerate and exceeded my expectations. Patrick and his team were very good to deal with throughout the process. They were punctual, professional and on point. The tree they removed from our yard was huge and in a tight spot, and they nailed it. When they dropped the tree, they (according to our neighbor) cracked a sewer clear out pipe that was under the ground (and not visible). Patrick came back multiple times to address the problem with the neighbor, and personally replaced this to my neighbors satisfaction. With this kind of removal, anything could happen...just like with most any home improvement project. The way they handled this situation shows how they treat their customers. Feel confident calling them. Ask for Patrick. We would recommend them (and have) for sure.

I had not trimmed the trees in a long time, and it needed to be done. I really appreciate Jason's help and advice in deciding on what to do. when the trimmers came out to do the work, they were also extremely punctual and professional. I especially appreciate the way that the workers conveyed questions back to Jason, who in turn called me about it. Great business. They are really a tremendous contrast to Bartlett, which I would not call again.

They showed up as planned and did the work, taking care to not damage other trees and property, explaining clearly why and what they were doing; cleaned up.

We had two properties that Arborscapes provided a variety of tree work for. We have used them in the past and as per our past experiences we are extremely pleased with their knowledge, professionalism, and punctuality. They have highly skilled employees that show pride in their work, something that seems to be in short supply these days. I would not hesitate to recommend them. They are great to work with.

Both the quotation and the actual work were extremely professional. The thinning and cabling work was very well done and the removal was done without damage to anything in the vicinity. Everything was cleaned up well afterward. I would hire them again.

I was keen to use a local tree firm from Powhatan if possible and invited Arborscapes to them to provide an estimate. I saw they were as highly rated as the Richmond firm I had used previously and thought I'd give them the opportunity. AJ who came to provide the estimate was certainly very pleasant and knowledgeable but had a tendency to oversell his qualifications/degree. However, I was shocked at the prices he quoted for each of the trees - almost exactly three times what I was quoted by the company I had used previously, who I knew to be highly professional and just as knowledgeable about trees. When he started talking about even more expensive options to wire branches together (this for a leaning and unattractive tree right next to my house) I lost all confidence in his judgement. It simply made no common sense. I'm sure the quality of the work they do is good. However, simply on the basis of the outrageous prices quoted, I would not consider using this firm.

After soliciting two other estimates for the work, finding Arborscapes was a goldilocks experience, "just right" in every way: professional, punctual, and priced right.

Arborscapes sent an arborist out to estimate what work needed to be done and he (AJ) helped explain to me what was afflicting the tree and how to treat it. AJ was great at listing out everything that could be done to help save the tree and prioritize which items on the list were the biggest priorities. I was very impressed at how knowledgeable each of the crew at Arborscapes has been when they have come to do the treatments and the diseased areas are looking much better now that Arborscapes is treating them.

They were prompt, and they cleaned up any mess. There was no leftover debris to pick up. They were pleasant, and they answered any questions I had. At the same time, if they had a question, they ask me. I'm planning to use them again in about two months.

Jason came with his team, I was skeptical that that would save them. For the first time ever they had no leaves. This spring came 2013, and they are lush, colorful. Definitely worth the cost. These maples are really rare and to lose them would have been a big hit to my yard. Arborscapes really saved them.

Todd called the day before work was to commence. He was on time with a large crew. We had three white oaks over 50 feet tall and a crane was required for their removal. I was witness to the arrival of Todd and crew and lots of equipment, but was not home to see the work in progress. They were starting to lay plywood over the grass when I left. At completion the yard looked great and all of the debris was removed. There was no damage to existing landscaping. They started at about 11 am on Thursday and the work was completed the next day around 11 am.
