+ -1 moreI met Tim Reid the owner and worked out the details and pricing which was way below the estimate of a previous roofer that worked my house. That roofer gave me an estimate of $6300 to cover my sunroom, compared to Tim's $2160. I mentioned Piedmont's pricing to the roofer who knew Tim, he then lowered his price to $3200. You decide. I went with Tim. It appears that the contractors within Fairfax County price out per neighborhood and Annandale calls for a premium. Tim agreed and suggested to always go with a contractor bid outside your County to get lower pricing for the same job. Tim feels for the common man and his prices are a bargain for the expertise and craftsmanship he offers. it is important to note that Tim installs 24 gauge metal panels which are thicker than what the competition offers. I am so pleased with the job that I can't wait to show off his work product to others in my neighborhood. Outstanding Job!
Description of Work: Furnish and Install a standing-seam, pre-painted metal roof, (Colonial Red), to my sunroom.

+ -1 moreEasy to schedule- Stephanie is the scheduler, friendly and easy to chat with, answered all of our questions. Extremely good customer service and follow up!
Description of Work: After meeting Tim at a home show we signed up for an estimate. Tim came out to our home at the scheduled time and answered all our questions. He met us in Middleburg one Saturday morning in order to drive around to see the homes where he had installed metal roofs, to better gauge the color. That was extremely helpful, since seeing the color on a pice of paper is difficult. We scheduled installation over this past week , and we couldn't be happier with the look of it. We went with colonial red ,which looks great next to a brown color siding. His crew , led by Alex, friendly and extremely easy to work with, I would heartedly recommend Piedmont Roofing -fantastic experience!

Description of Work: We are very happy with our decision to install a metal roof rather than use shingles. It was obvious to us in our first contact with "Tim Reed" that he knows this industry well. Metal roofing does cost a bit more than shingles, but there is such huge value with the metal roofing. The process isn't easy. The installation is very labor intensive and we were very impressed by the pride of workmanship involved. There were no negative experiences or "hidden costs," whatsoever. The staff at Piedmont Roofing are always professional, easy to talk to, and get the job done in a timely manner. Tim and Stephanie were very upfront from start to finish.

+ -1 moreTim Reed, the owner, was personally involved from start to finish. We first met him at a home show and were impressed with his customer focus. He was willing to travel some distance to perform the work on the two houses. The two houses are separated by some 60 miles. His crew took special effort to install the roofing while preserving the fiber cement siding on one house and the vinyl siding on the other. The quality of work is outstanding including the installation of two skylights. Cleanup was exceptional.
Description of Work: Piedmont roofing replaced the shingle roofs on both houses with standing seam metal roofing. The roofing color was a special order.

+ -1 moreSpoke with Tim Reed to arrange estimates for a conventional shingle roof and a raised metal roof. Made an appoinmtment for the following Saturday at 1:30 PM. Well 1:30 came and went and Tim never showed nor called. After waiting for 2 hours I called the number that he called me from previously to confirm the appointment thinking that maybe I made a mistake. Left a message saying that I thought we had an appoinment for 1:30 and that I am still waiting. Never got a return call nor has he ever followed up. Very poor customer service.
