Perfect! Our house outside front steps and walkway needed replacement and an updated look. Mac (Omega) worked with us, with ideas we had that did NOT use brick or slate, as we wanted something totally different from the norm. Stone pavers were used. The crew showed up on time, worked all day, and cleaned up. Everything worked out beautiful. The lawn and some landscaping had to be modified as well. Sod was installed and some bushes relocated. The 4 man team was outstanding.

Excellent. I was most pleased with the positive response when we requested extra work. We were happy to increase the estimate, but there was absolutely no pressure..

I highly recommend Omega Landscape Construction and Mackie Jenkins for any outdoor hardscaping / landscaping project big or small. We hired Mackie and his team to construct a 1400 sq foot patio (pavers over concrete) around a new build in ground pool. They also graded a significant area around the patio. Their work was excellent from design/concept to completion. Mackie and his team are meticulous, hardworking, communicate well throughout the project, and do beautiful work. The team was always courteous and left the worksite looking better than when they arrived. Not only did they execute the project on time and on budget, but they also fixed problems left behind by our pool builder so that the final project looked fantastic. We are thrilled we went with Mackie and look forward to working again with his team on future projects.

All the "jungle" was removed, but some small stumps could have been cut closer to the ground. I didn't notice these until I started prepping the area for seeding so I didn't point them out immediately after the work had been done. They did a good job with the heavy lifting and cleaning out parts of the yard that had gotten heavily overgrown.

Mackie and his crew did exceptional work. He designed and installed our landscape plan, including replacing the concrete walk with pavers and overlaying our concrete front porch with pavers. Mackie was personally on-site during the entire process, to make sure the job was done correctly, to answer any questions we had, and to bounce ideas off of us. His team was punctual and professional. We would definitely use Omega again, and won't hesitate to recommend them.

Could not have been more impressed! Our walkway looks welcoming, the drainage problem was addressed with River Jack and the patio created from the former front walkway a success ! Mackie Jenkins and his crew were professional throughout, kept us informed of changes and choices, and genuinely nice people. We would definitely hire them again.

Contractor is a highly knowledgeable arborist with adeep understanding of trees and shrubs. He was very punctual and reliable. He made suggestions that turned to be masterful and aesthetic.

It was awesome!! Mackie (project manager and owner) was flexible, as were his employees as project went on. I tend to be picky and like to change things as the projects progress. The whole team was just so agreeable and Mackie made several trips back and forth to Maryland (from northern VA) for materials 2 days in a row. Never a frustration or problem mentioned. The crew was fun to work with and Mackie seems to foster a trusted relationship with his crew. All around, a wonderful experience. I will be using them many times again and I will recommend them to all neighbors and friends who ask me (and the ones who don't!!)

We spent months getting estimates to replace our walkway, and finally (thankfully!) found Omega. They tore out our failing sidewalk, fixed the subgrade, installed a new walkway, and repaired our front stairs. It's amazing how much the new design improves the look of our house! Mackie was always courteous, had great ideas, and his crew was the best. I'd work with them any day. Hardworking, pleasant, professional, and the walkway is evidence of their attention to detail--it's excellent. And even though it took some extra maneuvering on their part, they were careful not to damage my favorite hydrangeas. We plan to hire them again when we are ready to address some of the drainage issues in our yard.

Omega came in and constructed a brand new, beautiful paver patio for my home. My call for an estimate was answered on the first try! No voicemails or call backs. The owner personally answered my call and came to my house for an on-site estimate within a few days. I told him what we wanted and he had some really great ideas. We followed his lead and we don't regret it one bit. We agreed on a price for materials and labor, and he honored the Angie's List member discount I saw in the ad. No problem at all. He returned on the first day of the project with two other guys. They worked hard for a full 2 days. All were professional, polite and grateful when my wife brought them some cold drinks. They were very precise and calculated with the entire project. I saw levels and string lines, pencil lines, tape measures, and some device that sat up on a tripod... It was pretty impressive. Toward the end, we made a slight design change based off of their recommendation, and I'm very glad we went with it. The end result was a gorgeous, sturdy and spacious new paver patio. These guys took a block of ugly, useless ground and turned it into a patio that my family and I will enjoy for many, many years.

Installation went smoothly. There was only one gentleman available to do installation, so it took a bit longer. There was some miscommunication at one point about where to put dirt removed, but it all worked out and the patio was completed in time for a big party. Quality workmanship for a good price! We would use Omega again.

They came out and they were under a different name at the time. It was almost three years ago, I think they were Premier then. It went OK. There was a request for some follow-up service that didn't materialize. There were quite a few things that didn't quite get done or done right, so I inquired about having them come back and complete some stuff. That didn't happen and they were supposed to handle a follow-up piece of work. There was a request for them to do a single follow-up piece of work, they never responded or said they would, but they never followed up. My initial experience was OK.

Very well. Great price, nice people. Sometimes came at times a bit different than we agreed to, but that was not an issue for me and didn't effect the work.

After I purchased the deal Omega Landscaping Construction responded to me very quickly. Mackie Jenkins asked if he could come out the next day at 9:00am. Unfortunately, that evening I was unable to check my email so when I saw his response I emailed him first thing in the morning. We ended up deciding on June 5, 2015 at 9:00am-12:00pm (this was great I had just bought the deal on June 2, 2015). Well, Jenkins emailed me after scheduling the landscape design ideas and asked me what it was I was looking for so he could come prepared that day and know what he had to work with. I had no problem with this and actually thought it was great that he wanted to be fully prepared. I explained my situation and even took it further to send him pictures of my backyard to show him what I needed help with. Even after all this we were still scheduled for June 5, 2015 between 9:00am-12:00pm. Well June 5, 2015 at 9:00 am came around no Mackie Jenkins no Omega Landscaping Construction. I waited and waited once noon came around I realized something was not right. I sent an email to Omega Landscaping Construction, "6/5/2015 Hi, I waited between 9am-12pm and never received a call and no one ever showed up. I have had this issue in the past with companies who are late and do not call. I am no longer interested in this deal. I have contacted angie's list for a refund. Wish things had gone differently". All Omega responded was, "6/5/2015 We did call the number you left with angies list and left a message about 8:30 this morning. We do not service your area". What shocked me is Omega Landscaping advertises they service Northern Virginia area. I am in old town Alexandria, Va which is in NOVA. Also, there is no voicemail on that number they called. So I knew then there was more to this story and I would not get the true reason to why they did not show up. That was the end of the contact I had with them. The only positive outcome of this is I learned that Angie's List is fair and will fix an issue and make it right. This was not how I thought my first time on Angie's List would go, but least I know I can trust them to do the right thing.

They came up to the house, the tree was about 50 years old. He does good work and his prices are fair. He does the work himself. He doesn't shove it off o someone else and he follows up on the work too. He's a good old boy and treats his customers like family. He does work for my daughter often.

This was not the first time I have had Premier Property Services mulch my property. I have called them back because they always leave my property looking its best. I've had other companies do mulching for me but these folks are the only ones who actually cleared the weeds and edged the beds rather than just putting down some mulch. Their work makes maintaining my garden so much easier.

Mackie Jenkins is just great, and his crew did a fabulous job. My yard looks beautiful, and the price was very reasonable compared with past service providers. His crew is pleasant and upbeat and everyone speaks English--a definite plus when you want to explain something. We did have a mishap at the beginning--an overzealous trimmer who is no longer with the company. Mackie made up for it in spades and the job is fabulous. All the weeds are gone, they mulched deeply everywhere in yard, even places most crews ignore--behind the shed and where I store garbage containers. They did a wonderful job of installing a stone wall using my neighbor's unwanted stones. They moved old shrubs and trees to different locations, and bought, transported, and installed a ton of new ones. I'm totally satisfied and they are my definite go to people for the long term. Also, he is honest and fair and does what he says on time and as perfectly as possible. I didn't have to ask for any corrections.

I called specifically because I was concerned about a "leader" coming off a neighbor's dying oak which had previously dropped a branch and crushed my car. I also wanted advice about other trees that would need removal or trimming. Mackie came in with the lowest price of the three contractors who I had come out, and I got a good feeling that he knew what he was doing. I was especially happy with the price quoted for the leader removal, since that was the part I was hoping to get the neighbor to pay for. Tree removal went well - one day job, though the leader was not removed on that day. We had the team come back the next day because my plan to shred all of the foliage myself got a spousal overrule, so we shelled out extra for the shredding. The leader was not removed that day either, though promises were made... But... I called later in the week, and then the week after that, then emailed, then called the month after, then emailed a couple of more time. Eventually I gave up. Pretty disappointing final result from otherwise good service.
