Envirogrow

Description of Work: Aerated, re-seeded, put compost on lawn. They showed up without advance notification for first visit (hence the one B rating above), but we were able to re-schedule to a time that didn't conflict with my family's prior commitments for that day. On the re-scheduled visit the lawn treatment team accomplished their tasks very quickly and professionally. I would certainly consider using Envirogrow again.

Description of Work: They aerated and seeded my lawn. The initial communication I received was great. In it, the owner said someone would reach out to me by a date (it was a day later) to schedule the service. There was a good amount of information in the email about what to do and was going to happen with regard to the aeration. My issue was with the scheduler. She would say she would get back to me by a certain date and nothing. This happened a few times. I had to then initiate conversation and she never apologized for not contacting me by dates she said. The work on my yard was fine. It's still too early to see much. I believe in customer service and I don't think this is a strength of the scheduler. I was very close to canceling my service.

Description of Work: Below is the message I sent to Envirogrow 2 weeks ago, there has been no response and my lawn look horrible. I figured I would wait to rate them until they responded but without any response this is my rating. | |I sent a couple message prior to this last service (and after the one in September), that it did not look like the seed that was used on my lawn in September was the same as what I currently had, a tall fescue. I used your service last September and it appears (after having someone who knows grass examine it) that the grass that was put on my lawn is a rye grass. The grass is light green, very tall and almost weed like! Completely different from what I had on the lawn so it not only does not match, it looks awful. | |I asked when I had this last service to make sure I met with the tech's that were going to do the lawn so I could insure we could get this fixed. I sent a message to you all asking if the folks that were coming out knew enough about grass and was told by your company that they would. They didn't! All they knew was what they were going to put down, and had no idea what the grass was that was currently growing. To make matters worse, both aeration machines on the truck were broken. I had to help them remove one of the broken handles on one machine just so they could get the machine to limp along and get the aeration done. | |I am happy to send some pictures of the lawn and grass but would much prefer is someone knowledgeable from your company can come out, evaluate the lawn and figure out how to remedy this situation. | |We have a very strict HOA association here and are due to have our annual inspections done the first week in May. I am not sure what they will say, if anything, about this grass but if it is at all invasive and given the odd color compared to all the other lawns, fear that they may flag it for correction. |

Description of Work: The crew was fantastic. Punctual, quick, and did an excellent job. Setting up the appointment with the scheduler, though, was a bit difficult. I had to call three times, leaving a message each time.

Description of Work: They weeded and generally cleaned up my yard and mulched. It was more than what was offered in the deal. So, we had some negotiating on the extra work. I felt the price was reasonable and the work was very well done.
