Description of Work: I purchased a gift certificate of $99 for $200 to Mr. Electric of VA (Electrical-405899-1) last August. After purchasing, I had scheduled Mr. Electric to come work on my sewer electric hookup. They inspected it, and declined to work on it, citing they would validate a refund. I never received one. I contacted again in February and they said that they'd still stand by a refund, but that Angie's List has to reissue it.

Description of Work: Have had James, from Mr. Electric to the house multiple times in the past year and a half for different electrical needs such as fan installation - changing under cabinet lighting - changing out fluorescent lighting - updating smoke detectors - and most recently adding outside electrical outlets. Description of Work: We had two bathroom exhaust fans replaced. One fan was put into the space where it originally was placed; however, the second fan was placed in another location closer to the shower, which required that the exisintg light had to be removed and the fan placed in this area. This installation was more complicated than the first. The electrician did a nice job and we are satisfied with both fan installations. He also installed two outlets in our sunroom and we're satisfied with these as well. Additionally, he rewired a bedroom light switch so that we are able to turn the light on independently from the fan and vice versa. He had to remove the fan and replace it in order to do this. He also removed a fan in another bedroom and replaced it with a new one as well as rewiring the light switch so that the light and fan work independently of each other. I am quite pleased with the work and will use Mr. Electric again when we need additional electrical work done.

Description of Work: Initial reason for call was non-functional GFI, which was replaced. Also needed to replace two light switches which were working intermittently. Also replaced 3 smoke detectors in the house, all are wired to sound at the same time. (old units 11-12 yrs old) Total cost 185.00. Called this morning with the initial GFI problem, and tech was at the house within 60 minutes. Good, professional servce.
