+ -1 moreI called RL Nash at 6 AM, they immediately returned the call and I had someone at my door in less than 90 minutes. My service was back to normal within 30 minutes.
Description of Work: Throughout a cold night, my furnace was having difficulty firing, was loud as the gas ignited. Nash cleaned the pilot and inspected burners.

+ -1 moreThe installation job was excellent. And my first season of a/c has been fabulous -- house-wide cooling at less than half last year's electric bill. Richard Nash did a meticulous job of designing the placement of the units, patiently explaining the pros and cons of different options presented by obstacles found in a small, older house. RL Nash did the installation work himself with a helper. He was punctual, neat and professional.
Description of Work: Installation of mini-split a/c & heat pump units -- four small inside units and 4 outside units. I obtained estimates from five HVAC companies in Richmond before selecting the Sanyo units quoted by Richard Nash. I checked 3 references of work done previously by R. L. Nash.

Description of Work: Cleaned and inspected my boiler (radiator heat system). Gave estimates of life remaining in boiler and in water pump. Knowledgable about replacement options. Recommended.

+ -1 moreRichard is very good at responding to emergencies, and will work around your work schedule.
Description of Work: I had Richard do a standard yearly maintenance on my heat pump system. I also had a outdoor unit that was not running. He found that it was just a bad fuse. Richard installed all the HVAC in the house when it was built, and has maintained it since 1996. We have been very happy with his work.
