Frank and his crew were very professional, thorough, and clean. I am extremely happy with my beautiful "golden" hardwood floors!

The provider came by to see the condition of hardwood floor to clean. Date was scheduled to perform the services. The floor was sanded covered with polyurethane within a few hours. They returned the next day and determined that the floor was not dry enough to add a second coat. They returned the next day to complete the job. The contractor cleaned the area on both days before leaving the site. The job turned out better than expected.

The process is really tough if you have a small house like mine. All the furniture must be removed and once the plastic goes up to protect other areas from the sanding dust, you can't go into the work area. Frank and one of his men, Ben, moved the furniture, but I had to get the breakables out of the way first. Wednesday, the cats and I were confined to the kitchen and utility room from sanding until the stain dried late that night. And then again the next day during buffing and finish applications until the finish dried around 11PM. But Friday I woke up to a beautiful floor that I could walk on as well as look at! It's a bit of an ordeal, but Frank and Ben were very considerate and respectful and got all the work done as quickly as possible. They came Friday to move the furniture back in. No additional cleaning was needed, as the plastic did its job. So, bottom line is that the process can be inconvenient and aggravating, but the end result is worth it. I was very impressed with Frank's skill and professionalism but also very much appreciated his consideration, kindness and respect--great guy who does a great job! As much as I would love to give Frank's flooring an A rating because in certain areas, he was an A rating but other areas the business fell a little short, not because of Frank but because of his employees. We had our floor buffed on Monday, February 16th. The employees showed up on time but Frank was not present on the job. About an hour into their work, I walked downstairs to the kitchen to notice an extreme amount of dust floating in the air. My eyes were watering and throat was dry. I took a closer look to find the employees did not notice that the plastic they had taped to the wall had come down in three places as they were buffing. I had piles of dust around the parameter of my kitchen. I was stunned and asked the guys to vacuum what they could. I also noticed they bolted out of the house after buffing, which was explained later they were rushed to get to another job. I called Frank the next day and he was very professional, understanding, and said he would pay for a cleaner as accidents happen but he would make it right. Due to snow, Frank and his employee was at my house the following day, prompt, courteous and professional. By then, I had mopped my parameter of my kitchen and starting cleaning and dusting due to allergies of my family. Frank stated he would clean and detail himself. Again, Frank is a dedicated professional with a true desire to be helpful, friendly, and provide great service. Frank and his employee dusted and wiped down the kitchen as well as a few places outside of the kitchen. Once Frank left, I noticed my fridge was not taped and covered as promised so we had dust piles around, under, and in the filtering system of our fridge. As mentioned, I blame the employees, not Frank. What is disappointing was the rush of his employees and not taking the time to tape properly, seal open cabinet areas, or appliances the correct way. I would recommend Frank's flooring for many reasons but feel there could be additional training for his employees and sense of responsibility in prepping the area before buffing.

I had them come out for an estimate, but I decided to go with another company who provided a cheaper estimate. I ended up having more work done too and Frank's Flooring provided an estimate for the whole job. They were willing to work with me on the price, but I went with a company who offered a lower price initially and right out the gate.

Purchased through Angie List. Arrived on time. Completed the work on schedule. Pleased that the area was left clean. Very pleased with the results.

The floors had really taken a beating over 15+ years of children and dogs, and Frank and his crew did an excellent and extremely professional job. They will be back next month to sand and refinish the remaining downstairs hardwood floors. We have used more well-known refinishers in the past, and the quality of their work and their customer service don't come close to Frank's.

Mr Jeffries responded to my call promptly within one day and came the next day to estimate the job. I was astonished at how well the floors came out. They sanded and stained the floors the first day, then came back three days in a row to coat them with the finish. They are beautiful and they did a wonderful job. I have nothing but the highest praise and will use him again if I need anything to do with flooring. You can rely on him!

Frank's Flooring was very responsive to my inquiry through Angie's list. He responded the same day and gave me a quote based on the description of the work over the phone. We scheduled the work for 2 weeks later. Frank's Flooring contacted me the week before the Monday they were to start work and confirmed they would be at my house at 8:30am. The crew arrived Monday morning and started sanding. After sanding, they cleaned off all the dust, even in other rooms, stairway to second floor, and in the living room. They stained the floor in the afternoon. They arrived around 3pm the next day to let the stain dry completely and put on the first coat of polyurethane. On the third day they arrived around 10am and put on quarter rounds (excellent craftsmanship), and put on a second coat of polyurethane. We couldn't be happier with the result!

Frank was very thorough in measuring and telling me what I needed to do to remove the old carpeting and subfloor (we opted to do this ourselves and save some money). His crew came in on a Saturday morning--they were very courteous, very professional, and very quick. Frank came back later to install the quarter-round (which I'd forgotten to order) and also filled some dings and fixed some nail pops in my pre-existing hardwood floor. He gave me advice on how to care for the new and pre-existing floors. They did a great job and were done quickly. I would definitely call them again.

The vendor was not honoring the materials being included for hardwood installation as per the deal fine print.

great service! I was weiry because i had work done in one room preaviously by others and wasnt pleased. Not the case with Frank and his guys!! :) they arrived early, had stuff pulled out work van ready to get to work..I was about few mins late!! They were pleasant, quite, efficiant, and PROFESSIONAL! took them 3 dAys to do hallway and front room.. he even corrected my pricing because there had been a price change and he wasnt aware..but he gave me the difference back! Not everybody does that! Honesty can always work for me!! I will have him come back! 2 more rooms to go!! my floors are outstanding!

It went great. Frank came over and looked at the floors. He was very easy to work with and flexible with dates for performing the service. We went out of town for a few days so that we could be out of the home (kids, dog, etc) while the services were being performed. When we came home the floors looked wonderful. There was no mess in the house and we were extremely pleased.

We received a quote two months ago and determined the installation data only a few weeks prior. Frank came by a couple of times for measurements, to test the wood in the room next to it, and to drop off the wood. The first day was strictly floor installation but went very quickly. The next day was spent sanding and putting down the first layer of polyurethane. The third day was for molding and another coat of polyurethane. Due to one of his tools breaking, he was unable to put on another coat. He was, however, able to return the next two days to buff and put a layer of polyurethane on and complete the job only 1 day late. He was flexible and did what he could to get the job done on time. We were concerned about the stain in a few places but we talked to him about it and he worked to ensure we were satisfied with the end result. The finished floor is beautiful and most importantly, matches the rest of the wood in our home.

Frank was the best. He sanded, stained, and top coated almost the entirety of my mother's house. When the stain I chose turned out to be lighter than what I had anticipated Frank called me and as I was out of town stopped work until I returned. He then worked with me to find exactly the right color. He refinished the floor stained the wrong color at his own expense. The floors are absolutely beautiful and match the other flooring that was there almost perfectly. His prices were very reasonable and he started work almost immediately. If I am ever able to afford hardwood in my own home I will most definitely be calling Frank.

I have many contractors worked on this run down home. This experience was not the best one. The best part of it is the price. I guess, you get what you pay for. They missed one of the door's trim ( they did not install it). We noticed it few days after they finished the installation. I called the owner and left a message, he never called back.

Overall they did a great job. There was A LOT of dust to be cleaned up afterwords. I think I was cleaning wood dust for over a month afterwards! The floors look great and the price was right. There were a few hiccups along the way that I had to be actively involved in problem solving, but Frank was sensitive to my time frame and finished the job only a few days after the original goal date. We got 3 other estimates for the job, and Frank was by far the best estimate and the job was done well.
