They removed some virus from my computer. I have had no problem ever since.

I dropped off a PC at Electromedics that would not boot. The technician Jimmy identified the motherboard as the problem. I was charged $140 in parts and $200 in labor to replace the motherboard with a comparable part. What I received back was a computer with a different motherboard, processor and memory than the original. The “new” processor was about 50% slower and the system memory went from 12 GB down to about 4 GB. Jimmy claimed this was an “accident” but in my opinion he was trying to pull a fast one on what he thought was an unsuspecting and clueless customer. After some discussion we agreed he would refund me $240 and return my original parts to me; I would let him keep $100 for the time he’d spent working on my PC. I got my parts back but received numerous excuses and delays as to why he couldn’t refund my money. I eventually gave up and disputed the charges on my credit card and got my money back that way. Stay away from this place.

After asking me a few questions, staff suggested it would not be worth the cost for the assessment and recommended I wait for Black Friday for a sale to replace my tv. I greatly appreciate their honesty and frankness and the speed with which he was able to ascertain the best option for my situation. Definitely recommend and will go back for future needs.

The service was excellent and the computer was ready the next day as promised. I have dealt with Jimmy for some time and he is just what he claims on the website: a personal tech who goes beyond simply fixing a problem. He is most willing to answer questions.
