I called at 10, they had an opening and they were here by 11. The refrigerator fan was broke so it needed a part. The best part they left to get the part and came back and installed it the same day. Refrigerator is fixed. Derek did an incredible job!

Came in, figured it out, fixed and was out in 30 minutes! Very pleasant and knowledgeable repair person. Will use them again if needed.

Very pleased with the service. Technician easily diagnosed problem, went to get required part and returned later in the day and fixed up the dishwasher great. Been working super since then.

I was given a next day appointment when I called later in the afternoon. There was one short visit to determine the problem. They ordered the needed parts and were back two days later to complete the repair. This was still done two weeks sooner than the first available appointment from a competing service provider.

My 2 year old GE dishwasher was not draining properly so I hired them to fix it. I suspected that the pump was broken because the waste water was not flushing properly from the dishwasher. Their technician looked at it for about 15 minutes and told me definitively that the control board was broken and had to be replaced. He said I should order the part online for approx $150 and then call them back to have it installed. Although I'm no expert, I had a gut feeling that he was wrong so I hired another company to come out and take a look. Their technician removed the waste line that runs from the dishwasher to the garbage disposal, found that it was clogged, and cleared it out with a vacuum. Problem solved and it had nothing to do with the control board. The technician was lazy or didn't know what he was doing and he would have cost me a lot of time and money if I had taken his advice. I understand that noone is perfect so I contacted A Appliance to give them the opportunity to apologize and reimburse me for my payment. I also thought they would want to know that their service person did such a bad job to hopefully avoid this happening again. I called and spoke to a receptionist who had a service technician call me. He said I had to talk to the boss and that he would have him call me. He never called so I called him. He never returned my call. Do business with this company at your own risk.

Craig fixed my leaking refrigerator on the same day that I called. Luckily, he knew the exact cause of the problem and was able to perform repair and maintenance work; I was only charged for labor. He was extremely professional and personable. He also suggested additional maintenance to perform to prevent future problems. I will use him again for all appliance repair.

The was a great experience today. The repairman called a said that he was on his way almost 2 hours earlier than scheduled which was fine by me. I explained that when I had called Sears service repair who I have a contract with, they diagnosed the problem over the phone when I told them the message code flashing on my washer. They were right on with the diagnosis but wrong when they told me it would be TWO weeks before I could get them out for the replacement. Did I mention that I had about a gallon of water in the washer that wouldn't drain? I immediately went to Angie's List and located A Appliance Repair. The technician was pleasant and very efficient. He had to travel to the other side of the city to get the part but was back pretty quickly and had the new water pump installed and the washer running again very shortly after that. I will definitely call them for any future repair issues I may encounter for which they provide services. I will also pass along there name and information to any friends or family that may not subscribe to Angie's List.

The technician was very efficient and quickly diagnosed the problem. Overall I was very pleased with the quality of the work and the quickness of the repair. It could not have been better. I thought the charge for the repair($270) was a little on the high side. The fan motor shouldn't have cost more than about $40(made in China, of course), so the the balance was time and labor + the parts run. I think a more reasonable charge would have been $200 - $225. But maybe my thinking is about 5 years behind the times. Everything is expensive now-a-days. But my wife is very happy to have a working fridge again and no food was spoiled.

They are in Mechanicsville. I would call them for anything. They give you a little certificate with 10% off going forward on anything you have done. It's on a card and it looks like a dollar bill with the owner's face; it's really cute. They are always here on time. They always leave everything nice and clean. They are just wonderful. The price was about $250 for the last service. The leak in my dish washer had pretty much ruined my hardwood floor. The repair people that they send out are always knowledgeable. I have had the same guys come here many times and I almost wouldn't have anybody else. They are fast and very effective. If I tell them that I suspect there is a leak somewhere, they will be here the same day. They are very reasonably priced. They show me everything, every charge and they go over everything with me; so I know I am not being gouged. They will really go out of their way to give good customer service. If there is something they can't fix, they tell me. They tell me that if it's going to cost more for me to fix it, then that piece of equipment is worth. So, I appreciate them and I am glad I found them. I would use their services in the future too.

They were able to fix my older unit where a lot of other places were unable to do so. The first guy that came out was pretty new in the field and was not too knowledgeable of working with the older units so they immediately sent someone that knew more about my unit and did not charge a penny more. I think that speaks for itself.

The job was OK. The man spent more time with his little vacuum than was necessary and made a mess of the kitchen. They charged by the JOB instead of by the hour as quoted me. I had them on a Saturday and they said it would be 99 dollars an hour plus parts. When the guy finished with the work, he informed me he had a book that he used to price each job. It was a real ripoff. I complained to the BBB and they replied that they thought what they did was fair for the price. I don't think so.
