Tom and Beth were a terrific team to work with. They were extraordinarily patient and accommodating in showing us houses, making themselves available on short notice. Beth showed us 7-10 houses at a time on several occasions as we tried to narrow down neighborhoods and styles. They also both previewed houses ahead of us to save us time so we could only see the ones that would potentially meet our requirements. Beth and Tom were also really helpful in assisting us in narrowing down which areas would best suite our needs, talking through commute times, school choices, and neighborhood amenities. They were extremely knowledgeable on the areas we were looking at and giving us a sense of value over time. Tom was adept at negotiating the contract price so we got a great deal. He also helped us navigate two challenging home inspection negotiations. The first house fell through because we couldn’t reach agreement on home repairs needed before purchase, despite Tom’s very effective engagement on our behalf. Tom was excellent at keeping us updated and talking us through options and concerns. He and Beth were quick to help us get back out and find a house quickly after the first one fell through on home inspection. Tom was able to negotiate a contract on a different house that was probably an even better deal and then ensuring that needed repairs were made by the sellers post home inspection. It required quite a bit of effort and follow up on his part, and he was diligent in looking out for our interests. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for more.
