Loayes wasn't able to start work quite as soon as estimated but came the next week and did a first-rate job. I would definitely use again.

They did a great job, got here by 8:30 every day, and stayed until about 6. Took about 6 days to do entire job. We are very pleased with their work, everything looks great! They were very professional and cleaned up everyday when they were leaving. We would definitely use them again in the future if we need anything else painted!

We're extremely happy with the final result. Edwin and his team did a great job and painted our entire 2500 square foot plus ceiling from top to bottom. They were tidy and did extremely good and detailed work. They also did a great job framing out and building a closet for us. We're thrilled with the work.

After 4 estimates I settled on the estimate provided by this company. Mr. E. Loayes didn't glance at the damage and in 2 seconds provide a bogus and over-inflated estimate. He actually examined the damage and presented a very fair and reasonable price. I felt immediately at ease with his calm and professional demeanor. The work crew consisted of 2-3 persons. They were extremely professional in regards to protecting furniture, carpeting, etc. They covered the large furniture with plastic protective coverings, moved the smaller, lesser items to a different area, and laid carpet covering over the entire workspace. They cleaned up diligently after themselves each and EVERY day and vacuumed up any debris. Mr. Loayes kept me informed of the work schedule and was easy to reach. The finished product is absolutely awesome! The paint job is meticulous and the quality workmanship is apparent. I would DEFINITELY use this company again.

The carpentry and painting was of high quality and professionally performed. The owner showed up on time for the estimate and the job, they finished the work in the time estimated, and entire work area was left clean, neat, and ready for use.

Benigno and his team were great from start to finish. They arrived on time, did a thorough job of repairing the hole in the high ceiling, took care of all our furnishings, cleaned up well afterwards and were generally very pleasant to work with. The quote was the exact amount charged. Overall very happy and would hire them again for future work.

Thanks the Angie's List We found Loayes Painting to do our second major project. Very good experience with Loayes brothers! They are on time, honest, meticulous and courteous. The price is competitive. They listen to our words. Everywhere is covered, and cleaned afterward. They are not like some folks who are doing several projects at the same time, which shows their respect to all of their customers. They remember to shut off the lights, and air-conditioner each day they finish their work to save us money. I recommend Loayes brothers without any reservations, and will definitely hire them in the months to come.

Edwin came out right away and gave me an estimate. He and his team showed up on schedule, were very neat, did a thorough prep job, and overall did a great job. They are coming back to fix a spot that was damaged by another contractor and a couple of problem spots. I have contracted with them for more painting, and highly recommend Loayes Painting.

Benigno came to see the house on relatively short notice... I believe three days. He went through the house on his own and came back with a quote in a day or two. We had not moved into the house yet, so it was empty, but there was remodeling work underway. I asked Benigno if he could start immediately after the remodeling work was completed so that he could do as much as possible before we moved in. Of the three vendors I met with, Loayes Painting had the highest price by more than $1,000, but Benigno could commit to the schedule that I wanted and, based upon his reviews in Angies List, I was confident in the quality of his work. I agreed to hire Loayes Painting on Sunday and Benigno began work on Monday. Benigno normally worked with a crew of 3, himself included. He was onsite for most of the work, but not all of it. He and his team normally began work around 8:30am and completed around 5:30pm, Monday through Saturday. Start and finish times varied day to day. Benigno began with the bedrooms and completed all three before we moved in (on Thursday, after three days of painting) so we would not be as inconvenienced by their work. He then moved to the hallway outside the bedrooms, foyer, and then the living room/dining room/kitchen. Finally, he did the laundry area and playroom. Start date was June 7th and the finish date was June 22nd. He came by on June 24th for a final walkthrough and did the minor touch-ups we requested (minor stuff). OVERALL The quality of the work is excellent. The prep work was thorough with a great deal of sanding, hole patching, and priming. We used semi-gloss white for all the trim, doors, and inside closets. We used flat white for ceilings. We used 14 different colors with eggshell finish for walls. On many of the walls, Benigno applied 3 coats. Benigno used Benjamin Moore "Ben" paint, which is the less expensive low VOC option. We are very pleased with the results and we have asked Benigno for a quote for the remaining bathroom and some limited exterior painting.

Edwin came a week prior to give me a free estimate. He was very thorough and answered all my questions. Didn't rush the process. Also gave me a very good estimate (almost $1000 less than what I got from Carlos Mosquera) so I went with his company. The crew arrived about 1 week later. It was initially planned to be a 2-3 day process but they had another job scheduled for the next day so they planned to paint my home all in one day. Had me a little concerned at first because I didn't want a rush job. After reviewing the plan on how they would paint and discussing paint colors, they got to work. They arrived to my house around 8:30AM and finished around 7:30PM. I hadn't moved in yet so I wasn't inconvenienced. They did a very good job! Since I have moved in, I have seen a few places where paint splattered or smeared (ie. stair rail, sink) but aren't deal breakers. I was overall impressed with their work and would recommend them to others.

I went with Loayes Paiting even though it wasn't the cheapest quote I received because Benigno provided a detailed quote and made me feel confident that he would pay attention to details and do good quality job - I also think you get what you pay for. We were very happy with the job Benigno and his crew did for us - they completed the work on time, and to a high quality, even doing a couple of extra things we asked for within this time period. The finishing was good, and they were also very happy to do any touch ups we asked them to do when we did a final walk through to inspect all the work. During the work, Benigno was always easy to contact, and I was always able to give him instructions either in person or over the phone about what I wanted to have done. We were very happy to leave our home in the care of Benigno and his crew during the day when we were at work, and they did take care of it and kept is clean and tidy, and that was very important to us as well. I would definitely go back to this company if I did further painting and decorating work on our house.

Benigno did an excellent job at a really competitive price. He and his crew helped me with a fairly difficult and involved renovation of my row house. They added a bathroom on the second level and extended the flooring to close off a loft and complete a second bedroom. They handled electrical work, plumbing, drywall, tiling, and flooring installation very professionally and with a professional finish. Overall, great job.

This is the second time we've used Loayes Painting. We were so pleased with their work the first time that we had them return to do additional work. We were once again pleased with the quality and attention to detail in their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Scheduling the appointment was easy enough - I'd reached someone's cell phone and was booked almost immediately. The employee that arrived to provide the estimate was ~30 minutes late, though he did call at his scheduled time to let me know. He was done with the quote fairly quickly, asked me to print my email address at which to send the quote, and I never heard back from him, or the company.

We had some serious damage from one of the blizzards that created an ice dam in our gutter leading to some melting of ice in through cracks, damaging dry wall, insulation and our basement rug. We received 3 bids and Loayes was the best, and they did a good job. The final payment came in about 10% above the original quote, but essentially for understandable reasons, including our adding painting of a section or two, so my only quibble is not much of a quibble at all, they still were probably more affordable and were more convenient (worked Saturday, and were prompt, friendly and easy to work with) than the other options. They did a great job, my wife and I are happy with the results: new basement carpet and padding installed, drywall and insulation replaced in kitchen, freshly painted kitchen.

They guy who came to give the estimate was about 20 minutes late. When he arrived, he was very polite, answered all my questions and was very knowledgable. The only problem was that he gave me a sky high estimate! It was more than the next estimate by $800. So, even though they seemed like a great company, I couldn't justify paying that kind of money when other people were offering the same service for a lot less money.

Great - Benigno was very prompt every time I contacted him (answered emails in minutes sometimes), came out right on time to provide the estimate, provided the estimate quickly, picked up the paints, started promptly and ended the project ahead of schedule. I had just had my floors redone, and so was paranoid about getting paint on them - I didn't have to worry. He's very neat and straightened up at the end of each day. Very pleasant. I would definately recommend him to friends and will use him again.

Loaye's Painting came quickly, gave us an estimate immediately, and did the work shortly thereafter. They were efficient, polite, and responsive. Plus, they charged us half of what another company estimated.
