Mr. Loayes was very professional and friendly. His crew was the same in all communications, work, and cleaning. My wife and I were very pleased with how our house was transformed. The before and after was like night and day. They even located some faulty plumbing and structural damage that could have cost me into the upper thousands if they didn't make the repairs right away. The repair cost were minimal compared to what it could have cost down the road. I am very thankful to have found such great professionals to work in my home. I would hire Mr. Loayes again for sure.

Edwin and his team, especially Peter, did a fantastic job on renovating our basement. The job covers three rooms in our basement and included putting up new drywalls, installing new flooring, installing new ceiling light and outlets, painting, replacing the dryer vent and many more. Not only did everybody do a fantastic job, they also went above and beyond. We cannot be happier with the final look of our basement. 2/3 through the project, we requested some additional work to be done. Edwin was so patient and brainstormed with us to come up with the best solution. There was of course an additional charge for the extra work but we were happy with the result and didn't mind paying at all. Another thing we appreciated is the team's punctuality. The crew showed up on time every day for two and half weeks, and always remembered to lock the door when they left. All in all, I would hire Loayes Contracting again and I would highly recommend Edwin and his team to anyone that is planning to get some remodeling work done.

They did an excellent job. I live in a high rise, over 55 community that has strict guidelines regarding contractors' work hours, parking, supplies, elevator usage, etc. They met ever expectation plus did a great job with the work performed. Thank you, Edwin!

We renovated our previously finished basement level after a flash flood damage. This included a family room and a guest bedroom. Edwin and his team did a wonderful job completing the 4-week project that involved removal of old flooring and placement of new luxury vinyl panels, drywall repair, installation of new ceiling lighting, demolition and rebuild of the fireplace mantel, replacement of doors, and repainting of walls and ceilings. Edwin was great keeping us in the loop and communicating with us, including any changes to the work schedule and mid-job proposals for work additional to the initial estimate due to unforeseen issues arising from original construction of the home. They were also very responsive to our questions or requests. We are very happy with how everything turned out and will plan to use their services again for future renovation projects.

From start to finish Loayes Contracting, LLC was very professional and responsive. All of their work was done efficiently and my parents and I were very pleased with the outcome. We will definitely request their services again for other projects.

From start to finish the process was excellent. Edwin and his team were highly communicative, offered the most competitive quote that I received when soliciting for one. He also recommended other work to be done that I didn't notice on the first go around. His team was prompt and cleaned up well after every day they were here. I will be using them again!

Everything Edwin and his crew did was top notch. His carpenter, Pedro, is excellent and matched all the molding in my house perfectly. Beni and Felix did a great job of painting, framing etc. I have continued to call Edwin for more work on another home I have, and highly recommend him. He will be my “go to guy” for years to come.

Benigno Loayes provided a timely and competitive estimate. Work, which included replacing moldy insulation, was completed with minimum disruption and to a high standard in two days. Debris was carted away and everything was cleaned up and left spotless.

Responsiveness - Edwin Loayes responded to my e-mails within 24 hours and provided me a very fair site-unseen written-quote for my initial project. When the project expanded, I asked if he'd be able to do an on-site/in-person estimate to make sure it was accurate. He was able to come the next day, after my normal business hours (~1730) to do an estimate. Further, even in mid-December, they were able to schedule two workers to spend nearly 8 hours at my house on a Saturday to get all the work done just the next weekend. Quality & Professionalism: When the workers discovered a much bigger problem; they were able to clearly show me the problem, purchase the necessary hardware to fix it (most importantly, safely and within fire code), on the fly and still complete the job flawlessly in the same day. Beyond the steel dryer pipe; they properly blocked and screwed in all of the new drywall (where some lesser contractors would just tape/mud the patches into place). Punctuality: I scheduled with Edwin for his team to arrive at 0830 on Saturday morning. Their van was in the parking lot by ~0800 and they knocked on my door promptly at 0825. They took a (totally reasonable) lunch break at ~1200 but worked consistently throughout the day. Price: I had a couple of competing quotes that were all much higher. All in all they had to patch 4 damaged places in my ceilings (around newly installed fire sprinklers), a couple of large drywall patches in my laundry room (due to a washer-leak), and replace a ~4-foot section of steel dryer-vent pipe. A considerable amount of fab, finish, and paintwork. Overall: I would hire the Loayes team again in a heartbeat. ANd recommend them to anyone needing work done to their homes.

Edwin and his team did a great job painting and remodeling our bathroom. His staff were true professionals and I especially appreciated the work of one his staff (Eddie) who was meticulous and very friendly. We would definitely hire them again.

Work went well, was completed on schedule. Closets were painted early to accommodate my schedule. Bathroom had hidden problems not seen during initial inspection, and they were dealt with professionally. The bathroom looked great when finished. This is the second time I have used Loayes Painting and I will surely use them again.

As was the case in 2012 and 2017, the professional conduct of, and work product generated by, Edwin and his crew was excellent. The crew arrived on time, was courteous, fielded questions and comments well, and was ready to make adjustments when needed to accommodate my concerns. I am extremely pleased with how things turned out and will use Loayes painting again in a heart beat when the need does arise.

Completely satisfied! Met with us one day after search on Angie's List and provided estimate. Started work only one week after we committed. Crews were on-time every day, very professional and polite, and complied with very tough condo rules. Very professional experience from start to finish! Our condo looks brand new. We have already recommended to friends and would definitely work with Loayes Painting again.

Starting with the estimate, Mr. Loayes was very attentive and responsive. His crew was extremely prompt and polite. I really appreciated the flexibility when I had to leave early one afternoon to go to a meeting. The crew was at my house for 4 days. At the end of every day and the beginning of every morning, care was taken to properly clean up and set up. Most of the job went smoothly, but when there were a few problems, Mr. Loayes responded promptly and the job was completed as I had expected. The only disappointment was that some wet paint got onto my dark brown exterior house when the drop-cloths were shaken right next to the house.

Edwin and the team did an excellent job and I would 100% hire them again. From our first contact to completion of the project, Loayes Painting was prompt, professional, and thorough. We even needed to add a room and Edwin was able to accommodate our request. They took extra care in covering our furniture and floors and cleaned up very well each night when they left. Edwin and the team finished in the specified time agreed to and the paint job is perfect! They painted our kitchen, dining room, and basement; they also stained a deck outside and painted the walkway railings leading to our house.

Edwin and his team did flawless work in repairing damaged drywall on our dining room ceiling, and also painted throughout our home. Their work was outstanding all around -- showed up on time and stayed on budget. They protected furniture and left our house spotless when finished. We will absolutely use them again, and I've already recommended to a neighbor.

Communication and value were excellent. This was a multi-day set of jobs that were performed exceptionally well, for a competitive price. We particularly appreciated the timely communications on what would be happening and when. The team members that worked on our house were very polite, careful with our belongings, and clean. We would definitely work with Mr. Loayes and his team again.

Based on previous reviews, I selected Loayes and was glad that I did. Dry wall was repaired, wall paper removed, walls sanded and painted. Although their quote was higher than other companies, the quality of work, detailed explanation of what needed to be done to repair extensive water damage to ceilings and walls, and execution of repairs was excellent. The crews was careful with furnishings, attentive to detail and good about cleaning up when the work was completed.

Edwin and his staff are very responsive, attentive to detail and professional. We have used his company on four seperate occasions over the past four years. Painting, bathroom fix from previous contractor negligence. Drywall work and repairs. Patio railing repairs. Highly recommended.

All the work was done in one day and it came out very well. My bosses were very pleased with the finished product and we would use Loayes again in the future for sure.
